4) They believed it would never hit the internet, because it would only be sold on DVD to a rich guy in Australia.
5) They allowed themselves to be filmed getting fuked on camera, even though most had boyfriends.
6) None of them filed a police report about getting forced to have sex until after the video hit the internet.

the thread on this when the guys were first arrested was dumb as **** and showed the true colors of a lot of guys on this forum. the testimony OP "summarized" isn't the full story, there was overwhelming evidence these guys committed FRAUD and were DECEPTIVE in every conceivable way. they would tell these girls they were coming to LA for a modeling photoshoot, and once they got there, they'd say actually it's porn and if you turn the gig down, we won't pay for your return ticket, and by the way, the p0rn won't be distributed online in any way. they also regularly forced girls to finish videos they didn't want to finish.

now it's pretty obvious doing the p0rn is a bad decision and you don't need to be a genius to say "well just say no and leave and pay for your own ticket". but that is not mutually exclusive with "these guys broke the law and should be punished". you can believe that someone who puts themselves in a stupid situation should take responsibility for doing that while also believing that the men who prayed on them should be held responsible too

But he was also convicted in criminal court as far as I know, which requires a higher burden of proof.
