It's a sorry state all-around. The people who really are in a good position to be having kids, typically do not want to for bizarre reasons. If you forgo having kids because you feel a higher calling then sure, but if your "higher calling" is traveling non-stop for your travel blog, growing your "brand" or "business" (basically you have a YouTube account or want to be an "influencer" on Instagram) or you are just too wrapped up in your Hulu shows to get serious and plan a family, then that's a problem. Meanwhile the people who should be sterilized and lobotomized are pumping out dead-ends non-stop.

Can confirm my cousin is 37 and childless and all she talks about is how she was "cheated" out of a family because all her sisters have kids and a husband/bf and she doesn't.
