I do not submit myself to suffering that misery anymore and have FREE'd myself of it!

If you've left that bs involuntary socializing behind on a purely voluntary (ironically) basis (and not because of a broken relationship or something), then I commend you

"Dinner and drinks!!!" had me rolling. Also notice how lterally every couples social activity is marketd to appeal to the women while the guys tag along to make them happy

who isn't broken a bit in some way? is anyone "perfect"? not suggesting I'm too much of either, perfect or imperfect; but regardless, I just determined to be done with that forced and unpleasant business…..which does not mean that I do not socialize, but I just allow myself to enjoy socializing with those in which there is some meaningful connection….a kind of quality instead of quantity management……and I'm also not talking about superficial toxic positivity "get rid of neg peeps" selfishness either, I have no problem lending my ears and shoulders to a True Blue

I've always found airports/travel relaxing. Its the one time in my life where I allow myself to really break routine and just relax and not give a F what happens. Even if I miss a flight not a big deal. I can just catch the next one.

However when I travel. I don't just go look at tourist sites. I'm traveling to a specific area to go diving/snorkeling. Or I'm going to the mountains with a specific snowboarding/mountain biking/kayaking trip. Etc.

In essence I travel to do things I can't do at home. I'm not just there to look around/eat/drink. I rarely go to 'cities' and crowded places.

My last trip was to the mountains and I basically just bought my tent/camping gear. I did some fishing. Kayaking. Swimming. Hiking. Cooking over a fire. Etc. Over a week and I only spend around 12 hours in an actual city. (srs) Was amazing to unplug.

Still, the dopamine high you get from concerts from bands you love is insane. It's much better than doing alcohol or drugs, although of course a lot of people do those there. I keep it to just one drink and when they pass around you know what I don't do it.

Deftones and System of a Down are touring but the tickets are over $200. I mean c'mon they have to make these affordable, especially for bands which are 20 years old.

There's a 1 in 25 chance that a legit 0 cap would shoot a -2 on any given day (handicaps are a reflection of maximum potential moreso than average score), and he sure as fukk isn't shooting a top 4% round while benching his 4 or 5 longest clubs.

You score inside 100 yards, I've seen a million guys that can hit a ball 300 yards but can't break 82 even after years of practice

It's objectively the hardest sport to be consistently good at which is why it appeals to so many

It's insane how hard it is to cleanly hit a little ball on the ground, much harder than a baseball flying 90mph
This. Another thread where miscers confirm they are the most boring, lazy, unimaginative and hate everything fuks ive seen. Just fuking get it over with and rope already

This is because you travel like a middle aged married guy.

My kind of travel is the most rewarding thing a person could ever do, and it costs like 1/20th of your trip.

Then there’s the overpriced concessions, you’re basically getting raped for low quality food. I literally threw up last time I had a hot dog at an MLB game srs. And of course once the game is over there’s a mad rush to the exits so you’re packed like sardines trying to leave the stadium. And there’s the bottleneck traffic headed out of the parking lot. It’s just aggravating AF.

Minor leagues are cool because nobody really cares about the games since they're irrelevant. So the crowds are just there to spend an afternoon having a good time and it's 10x cheaper.
NFL attracts the worst. Just absolute fat deadbeat losers with a chip on their shoulder because life hands them L after L so they always think they are clever by talking ****.

You and I disagree on real estate but we agree on traveling!!!!! I'm really getting great upgrades on Delta lately.

I travel on a budget as well, although not in hostels for female safety and I don't want to bunk with others, but I still find decent hotels for around $100 a night. You don't spend much time in your hotel room, anyways.

NFL games are fun to go to maybe 2 games a season to feel the in-person excitement and if you get good seats from a season ticket holder. It's annoying the deal with the people who always walk by your seat when there's a big play. Sometimes it's just easier to watch the game at home.

I prefer being at home so I can eat and drink and use the bathroom in peace. Can’t stand people who nasty up public restrooms and it’s usually joggers. I could actually kill sone one over that srs

I don’t really care about skin color but I love the views of a golf course! I just wish it wasn’t such an expensive sport.
