To put it in more perspective I have a 1 year old and 4 year old. When the tv is on which we try to keep on little it's on there shows. If I game on the xbox at all I use my laptop for remote play which makes it more pita because firing up the laptop and all.
I get it man, I have a 4 year old, 2 year old, and 2 month old so my gaming time is basically at most 2 hours a day available. I've found indie games tend to be more fun because the time commitment isn't as intense. That said strategy games like Fire Emblem, Unicorn Overlord, Triangle Strategy, etc have been welcome additions to my gaming repertoire because you can jump in, do one stage in 45-60 minutes and jump out. The stories are generally easy to follow so you don't miss much by playing in chunks like that.

Just saying, don't automatically go retro and keep replaying old games just because you're a bit short on time. Despite what these guys will tell you, there are still a lot of good-great games being made in the current gen. You just have to pull away from the zoomer shooters.
