So he failed, and proved that you CAN'T make a million in a year, even when you start out with advantages like having extensive experience running businesses? Got it

Lol what a dumb thing to do. All you need to do is go from homeless to having a job and a place to live, not a fukking million dollars per year, and you would btfo everybody who says to give homeless people free chit.

What a dumb fukin’ experiment.
It’s basically a well understood thing that it’s better to be a rich man and lose it all than it is to have never been rich in the first place.

Even with all the business knowledge in the world it's gonna be 10x harder if you can't use your pre existing connections.
People massively underrate how much connections and networking (I.E Politics) matter.

This is not to say that the American system doesn't provide the best chance for people to succeed, it absolutely does, but that doesn't mean you can't acknowledge the built in advantage by virtue of their ancestry.

a lot of good success stories but the vast majority of people have some sort of edge they can parlay into getting ahead…could be as simple as being lower middle class and having two working parents….that provide your first car, make sure you're going to school, always have a place to live/eat, buy occasional gifts, etc. most of the people in my family that are middle class had a good leg up in life from their parents…parents paying for college, helping with a down payment on a home, paying a bill when in a bind, etc.
