I believe it has. I have noticed egg prices specifically, have been volatile like stocks the last two years. (Super Ded fkn Srs)

This thread is a perfect example of how dumb people are…
Op posts a random excel sheet, but no one questions it or asks for a credible source, they just blindly trust some rando on the internet
no one questions chit unless its something they are against, they'd rather get their "facts" from headlines and memes instead of putting any effort into educating themselves
Not to say OP is wrong, prices have probably gone way up, but I'm not gonna blindly trust numbers in an excel sheet to base my opinion on

Prices haven't probably gone way up. They have gone way up. Everyone has been complaining about this for years. The prices in the picture were pretty much in line with what everyone has been experiencing.

We dont "trust it" but if you buy the same foods you memorize the prices and have observed trends over time.
costco had fluctuations as well.

No, but if you get used to 1 number and it suddenly doubles and the product shrinks, you get annoyed.
A higher price usually means more of an item, or a drastic improvement.
if Michelin doubled tire prices or Samsung doubled phone prices….you get it

Can’t remember the last time I checked a price tag before buying something

I haven't left a grocery store for less than $150 with two little plastic bags of maybe <10 items in years now

I spent nearly $13,000 more last year on food alone for my family than I did in 2020; while physically buying less items

I don't need a "source" to tell me what I've seen in person for 4 years, pal

I’ve been leaving Whole Foods with the bill of $100-$125 a week. Maybe it’s cheaper since I’m vegetarian.
