Certified Pre Owned Camry or Civic with moderate-high miles (for its age, which is likely gonna be 2-3 years old) from a dealership IMO. You have the multi point inspection and guarantees from the dealership, a portion of the initial warranty remaining, and likely they throw in a sort of "maintenance package" to boot.

Used car prices are so inflated these days that you might as well just buy new
I was all ready to chit all over the mitsubishi mirage, but after looking it up I guess it's not the worst deal ever if all you care about is getting from a to b in a chit box. They have a 10 year/100k mile powertrain warranty which is double what most brands give you

You're not getting anything reliable for $10K; that's less than the cost of the average new engine
Lol @ thinking buying new is cheaper than buying used and maintaining it; are you retarded

You can buy a low mile, low being 100k, civic for 7 grand. Will run until your grandkids need a car. And if it doesnt, a new engine is $600

2 of my friends are selling their cars
2017 Hyundai Sonata 175k miles $5k
Friend says he put Transmission is new, wheels are new, rotors and brakes are new
2018 Toyota Camry le 9k miles $20k
One accident friend purchased it as a cpo car 2 years ago but has basically been sitting not driving
What should I offer these guys
Thoughts on what’s a better deal? Just waiting till winter when prices go down
Other options are new or used Corollas
Or new Mitsubishi Mirage
