Best car to get around 10-12k

Maybe can pay more if it’s worth it

How is the used and new car market these days including interest rates

Thinking of getting a 2010+ corolla around or less than 100k miles. Also for Uber/Lyft here and there

I’m just wondering if it’s better to just buy a brand new one cuz if in 5 years or less or more if I sell it I didn’t really pay the full price right?

Also used is only worth it if buying cash cuz interest rates are high

Sometimes I think when u buy a used it’s the same cost as new cuz of the average cost of repairs of an I wrong.

2010 v6 rav4 with less than 150k miles
Should sit at $9-10k, will last another 150k miles. Seats 4-5, has AWD, and one of the most powerful engines:weight with decent gas mileage

If you have a good honest mechanic then you can gamble on a used car. Didn't think you could buy any new car for $25k but looked it up and there are some that can be bought that cheap. Depending on how your income is derived there may be other tax aspects to it if you buy a new or used car then accelerated depreciation can save you a boatload of money in the first year.

Spend another few thousand and get yourself a BRAND NEW 2023 versa, mirage or something like that.
Not sure with US prices but pretty sure you can get a brand new car for under 20k now.
