It's getting expensive though, not the gap it used to be. Its getting like a 3rd world country where sure you can still live cheap, if you have low standards but if you want to live somewhere nice you've got to pay a lot.

It's crazy how OP doesn't have any bills relating to his daughter or his common law wife.

my standards are pretty much white neighborhood, enough land where people aren't on top of me, around charlotte to be near family.

i do eat…out a lot. it's my luxury in life. no point putting a budget for food because it can be nearly as cheap or expensive as one wants to make it.

Another bill is icloud at $10/momth for the family. However I get about 50% off that for the next ~3 years due to buying some cheap iphones from prepaid carriers and trading them in for 2x what I paid.
