It's getting expensive though, not the gap it used to be. Its getting like a 3rd world country where sure you can still live cheap, if you have low standards but if you want to live somewhere nice you've got to pay a lot.

It's crazy how OP doesn't have any bills relating to his daughter or his common law wife.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

it's not that hard to understand.
Save up from the job he's never had. That's the thing, he can't ever answer where the money to buy these hypothetical houses came from.

my standards are pretty much white neighborhood, enough land where people aren't on top of me, around charlotte to be near family.

i do eat...out a lot. it's my luxury in life. no point putting a budget for food because it can be nearly as cheap or expensive as one wants to make it.

Another bill is icloud at $10/momth for the family. However I get about 50% off that for the next ~3 years due to buying some cheap iphones from prepaid carriers and trading them in for 2x what I paid.
