Actually, the Olympics themselves brought politics into it in the first place. Their far left anti-religion opening ceremony, purposeful pushing of men in women's sports, they're coddling of China and giving them separate rules, etc. All of this is why so many people are just done with it. They want the Olympics to just be games and entertainment.

Anyone else notice that no matter what country hosts the Olympics they are always ranking in the top 3 ..usually 3rd? ..

They do the same sht over and over and over till they get it exactly right and then they continue doing it over and over and again. And again, and again till it is perfect and then they do it again. I'm a dime store gymnast and do some combo movements and I get remarks how I do it perfectly and with control......I have done it way more than a 1000 times. Repetition, not just pick the weight up and put it back down. Go through a complex combination of movements and repeat over and over and over.

When you see them perform, this is not the first time they did that or the 1000th time.

I think it may have to do with Olympic qualification rules being different for host nations so they are allowed more athletes competing

These other countries game the system by flooding into unathletic cuckpetitions like shooting to get medals while no one in the US cares about those sports.

Alright, I found a breakdown. So many are in swimming, which is kind of meh. Quite a few in track and field and gymnastics (which say what you will, but gymnasts MOG regardless of how gay many may think it is). None in Wrestling, Boxing, Weightlifting, Judo, etc. though.

They also have a lot more athletes competing than they normally do, given they aren't travelling. The home country usually overperforms because of this. The only country that has sent more athletes than France is USA.

A lot of people don't realise how much the medal tally is reliant on funding your athletes to travel (which in itself is nothing compared to how much funding the training and facilities get to produce these athletes). China & USA spend way more on this than most other countries, that's why they usually do the best. No one actually thinks there is a genetic superiority in those countries over the rest of the world. It's numerical superiority + government spending. Your tax dollars helped it happen
