I actually think that its more the retardation than ethnicity. Usually Chinese like to try and flex with actual accomplishments ("MY son just got accepted to Harvard", "MY husband is a doctor", etc.). Most of them would hide in shame if they were in his small shoes. Imagine the shame that his parents feel, and the fact that they can never brag about him to others: "Our son still lives at home, works at the mall, and has paper posters of bikini girls on his wall in front of his PC with tissue and lotion next to it. And have you seen his back? It looks like he was in Hiroshima.
