You have "viral" posts of young people on social media saying Walz is "the dad/uncle they use to have before trump brainwashed them" Then you have trump throwing everything and anything at the wall at them hoping it sticks and it really comes off as desperation especially that random press conference.

More importantly, we're in the heat of the election cycle and trump hasn't been on the campaign trail all this week except for one planned stop in Montana, a safe state, and therefore pointless.

You then have JDVance holding these tiny little rally/press conferences by himself where only 20 people show up.
