I'm with you brah, but it's human nature to an extent. Have you ever seen someone dressed like chit in public and noted it in your head? You think damn that person's either homeless or just not doing well in life and you compare yourself to them subconsciously

there's a bunch of materialistic retards and women who actually chase that feeling of being better off than other people by wearing nice clothes

• My one good friend of many years recently sold his insurance company and is worth millions... he dresses in basketball shorts and T-shirts, drives a mid-level Audi and slays... legit never see him in anything but basketball shorts and t-shirts.



• I have another buddy who is C level in his company, dresses very well (no h0mo), nice watch, and drives a newer Range Rover... homie can't get laid or stop getting ghosted to save his life.

There's a difference between dressing like a homeless person and dressing in what you like, even though it looks trashy.

Actually, if you have the status and money, you can dress like a homeless person and still pull it off - see Kanye's range of homeless wear.

There's dressing up in dirty and stinky clothes and then there's dressing up in apparel that is associated with a certain demographic or sub-culture and being judged harshly for it.

For example I like wearing sports clothes and athletic wear (adidas, nike, asics, under armour, etc), but people think that you're a 'lad' if you wear this type of stuff - a lad is a Sydney term for a lower class person like chav.

For example, I prefer wearing comfortable shoes, shorts/trackies, and a t-shirt over jeans/chinos, button shirts and loafers. Yet if I dress up well in corporate attire I get treated with much more respect.

thats funny because IF I dress up well, wear a nice watch, show my tattoos. People will assume that i'm wealthy and i get treated like i'm a king where ever I go

If I go out dressed looking like a homeless person? People act like I don't even exist . I could ask for a cup of water they will say "no" if I go to a restaurant in a hoodie and shorts I will have to literally ask to get service. Now if I go in dressed up looking good? "Right this way king, first drink is on me" Waitresses will be flirting "wanting to know who you are" since you "look wealthy"

Cloths can make a difference, color in particular, but for me I've noticed when I'm looking good and healthy I suddenly find myself receiving a lot of attention. It can be rather odd when it happens.
