I'm not scared of flying, but the overall experience of flying just sucks so fuking goddam much

Brb a 2.5 hour flight ends up taking most of the day, between driving to the airport, parking, walking in, getting through long security line, having to take shoes and disassemble your bags, TSA needs you to step aside cause your bottle of contact solution set off their alarm, arriving there hours early incase of delays

Brb can only take so many belongings with you, and can't take certain things

Brb need to buy a rental car when you get there, adding even more time/cost/frustration to the trip

Brb airline seat is like 12 inches wide, your just praying that that 500lb obese blob sitting across from you in the waiting area isn't sitting next to you

Brb not enough leg room

Brb neck and knees hurt for the next few days

Would rather drive if possible, especially with cars having radar cruise control now. I know its more dangerous
Best lifts:
Bench press: 315x5
Squat: 465x1
Strict press: 205x5
Deadlift: 405x13 (conv tap'n'go with straps)

That's not a stall…that's a full blown spin.
Lol…that is referred to as a stall…plane isnt flying fast enough for the wings to generate lift..stick shakers start shaking and plane stalls and falls out of the air.

These airplanes that fall out of the sky in such ways are usually in 3rd world countries and it happens due to a failure and lack of maintenance, for obvious reasons.

I find it funny how people stress out over flying and yet are so casual with their driving.

And yet ballpark it's 400 fatalities per year from aviation vs 1.19 million from road traffic accidents.

I am not defending boeing.

Airplanes are massive machines, but they are machines nonetheless and are engineered to be robust. If everything is done properly and up to standard, things are very unlikely to go wrong. Same thing as when buildings are properly designed, engineered, and constructed.

The issue is that the people who build buildings and planes cut corners and take shortcuts to save money, so the constructions end up being problematic.

It's not magic in this case, it's just human stupidity.

These companies need to be sanctioned and disbarred from being on the fly list srs. All airlines should adhere to a universal and VERY strict maintenance system.

You have a higher chances of dying from cancer than from a plane crash, there's literally thousands of aircrafts in the air at all times.

Its funny how seeing horrific car crashes doesn't have the same effect on people. I think its cause biologically its not natural for humans to be in the air, which is why so many are scared of it, regardless of safety stats

That's the thing - most modern airplanes are autopilot anyway. Hence why I said this stuff mostly happens on small plane and in poor countries.
