I look at user impressions not just critics though. I lurk neogaf for example.

only thing that blips the radar would be the new gears, assuming they don't wokify it, metroid prime 4, except nintendo's consoles are garbage and the seemingly inevitable RE5 remake.

Same. I try not to get too hyped on a game without all the details. I'm skeptically optimistic.
Though to be fair, not every game has to be some 10/10 masterpiece. I'll take a great 8/10, solid experience. Hell, 7.5 if it has a certain charm ad an addictive gameplay loop. I wait for sale on those though.

Maybe that ****** Souls game will be decent, not looking forward to anything else this year. Huge letdown after 2023.

I have yet to see a single redeeming feature about the game.

Graphics are disgusting, AI is horrible, gameplay from what I've seen is riding your speeder over vast steppes of absolutely nothing, just to arrive at a Ubisoft tower, pling Stormtroopers with your blaster with gun handling noticeably worse than what we had in Mass Effect 1 almost two decades ago, and at this point I don't even care what the story is supposed to be about.

I tried checking out the stealth gameplay, since maybe at least they got that one down after all the AC games, but nope, it's just sitting in a corner and letting your invulnerable and untargeteable pet handling doing everything for you.



They could have just reskinned AC:Odyssey or one of the newer AC games and released a decent/fun game, but they have somehow managed to take several dozen steps backward.

It’s been a great couple years in gaming IMO..just not cuck AAA games. Indie has been where it’s at for some time.

MW2 OG remastered. Been playing MWR last couple days and just slapping kids. 3x frag on wetwork is iconic ! Simplicity of everything is just a breath of fresh air tbh.
