How big of a difference do you guys think maining one role or a couple of champions makes? A full tier? I'm S1 but play 30 champs can't help but think I would do way better playing same guys over and over but it is just so boring.

Makes all the difference.
Most high diamond play mainly 1 role, and quite a few only 1 champ.
There was a diamond 1 singed, who said he'd be gold if it wasn't for singed.

You say you play 30 champs but are they evenly spaced out?

Or do you play like say 5 champs primarily and then you can play 25 others if needed?

There's a difference in that.

But yes, in general, if you play only one champ and master the little nuances with it, then you will climb up the ladder faster than if you play a diverse amount of champs. The problem is if you get to higher ELO and maybe that champ is higher priority OR maybe you get too high and become the true one trick pony.. then what? You're probably ****ed and will be a detriment to your team.

It's better to just be a well rounded player than just a one-trick pony.

It entirely depends what you are playing for. For Solo Q it's a lot better to be a one trick pony if you want to get to Diamond 1. If you don't play your main then playing a half decent support or picking an easy to play champ as a secondary option is fine… There's a singed main who can only play singed in diamond 1, but he plays yorick when he doesn't get singed. Of course if you are playing for a team then you need to main a few champs.

I played two champs from Gold lll to Diamond V. It's ALOT easier to main a couple. 30 champs? You can barely say you play them if there's that many champs to be honest.

I used to have an AVI of my traps and neck. I changed it a while back and tried editing my user title but this website is glitched and it will not let me change it anymore.

Depends the role. I main ADC, and I find it super easy to pick up different champs because they are all quite similar and rely on auto attacks and most ADCs kits are pretty easy to use. For something like mid where the champs like LB are pretty difficult to use, it's more difficult to play many different champs. Also playing a lot of leblanc wont necessairly help you play other mid champs like Nid or Ziggs who have completely different kits and play styles.

I only watch lcs anytime someone ITT mentions it srs

like on Friday when you said something about xdg getting wrecked. Youtubed it and watched. Usually how it goes. So pls be explicit when describing so I can easily find what you're talking about

Poppy isn't being played because she takes a million years to get items.

If she actually gets items she is a god. Like literally unstoppable and will kill someone of her choosing (or two people) during her ulti guaranteed.

Both Coast and Complexity Black seem to be teams that really ride on momentum and right now after Coast epically threw game 1 they seem deflated. Shiphtur can't carry when he's playing Lulu and going even in the mid-lane (ironically the heal / support meta in 4.5 is forcing him to play Lulu) while Brokenshard is jungling circles around Nintendude. (on top of the bans to LeBlanc and Nidalee)

I personally really like Robertxlee so I hope he gets into the LCS. I would love to see Shiphtur on a more established team.

Kinda ****ty if they lose since I doubt any established team would pick him up (talked to him a bit about it), even though hes arguably top 2 NA Mids for LCS.

Think he was playing bad this bo5 from the bits I saw even though coast just dumpstered them as Im typing this.

If Coast loses this Shiphtur won't be out of a job for long. Shiphtur is pretty highly respected now among the league community.

Dignitas would kick Scarra again for Shiphtur immediately if they were willing to do so for Goldenglue.

I can see CLG moving Link to top to let Shiphtur come play mid. I also don't think he's playing bad but rather it's just hard for him to shine on a Lulu when he made his name playing the likes of Ahri, LeBlanc, and Nidalee. The Ori was a good start but assassins are nerfed pretty hard in 4.5.

God im going to be ****ing gold forever. Gotten to gold 3 twice and then gone on huge losing streaks (losing 12 out of 15 games) and all the way down to gold 5. **** is getting annoying.

Shiphtur is easily the best player in Coast but i think he already said he doesn't enjoy progaming because of too much pressure.

CLB is up 2 1 now so they should be in a good shape to close the series.

M8 I know Shiphtur from highschool and still talk to him on league now, dont think he's going to leave Coast unless Dig offered him a spot…(which he doesnt expect them too either),since CLG would have to go full retard in moving link top instead of getting a real top laner. Pretty sure someone also said Link is good at every role except top.

Shiph still likes his team, even though Im pretty sure Nintendude is slightly downs.

I think Dig will offer Shiphtur a spot (they basically kicked Scarra for Goldenglue and even Scarra thinks very highly of Shiphtur) and I also think CLG won't hesitate to move Link to top for Shiphtur either.

CLG said they have no problem moving Link to top if they could find an adequate mid.. and both manCloud and Shiphtur are great mids IMO.

Why did they kick GoldenGlue out of Dig before he even had a chance to do anything, then move Scarra back to mid lane when he said himself he's been underperforming and doesn't want the pressure of being a pro gamer anymore? Also seeing Coast lose that was painful. Games 1 and 4 they threw hard.

you can't judge ManCloud from the split when his jungler was basically useless the whole season. I still believe manCloud is incredibly good and skilled and with proper jungle synergy will be back in form. The whole XDG team looked like they were clueless this whole season and maybe I'm just overly optimistic on his skill.

ZionSpartan isn't even better than Nien considering all Zion does is afk split push all game and doesn't do **** in team fights.

I don't see anyone from XDG making it to the summer split after they got trashed like that against a challenger team. Mancloud hasn't been performing the entire season.

Zionspartan to CLG seems doubtful as well, he's way too inconsistent.

No clue where CLG will get their toplaner but if i would have to guess i'd say they grab someone from the EU challenger scene. Zorozero is a really consistent player who has shown to be of top level when he played in Lemondogs. Added bonus that he already played with Dexter before.

Gonna be interesting to see Westrice and Prolly back in the LCS.
