I don't lust after anything, which kind of makes me sad. But I'll be getting a wrangler in a few months so monies will be going to getting that road trip ready and badass.

To add to that, I don't see much appeal in buying a new one of those though, except for - weirdly enough - perhaps the sub, just because of its function as a diver. (Although there are plenty other/better alternatives for the money).

And you'll have to wait another week to see some more JLC action from me… but it will be very well worth the wait.
Can't go a minute without seeing someone in person wearing a Sub. But only a few times have I seen a Speedy out in public. I think it's ubiquitous in online watch communities but still fairly niche in the real world.

Conversation that happens A LOT and makes me want to go lone wolf terrorist attack on their asses:

-Wearing the Heuer Autavia;
"Hey man I know you sell watches and stuff I love watches myself"
-Cool man yeah I do, here have my card.
"What watch are you wearing right now?"
- Shows Heuer Autavia, Its a Vintage Heuer Autavia 11630MH
" Wow dude as luck would have it I am wearing my TAG F1 today! Want to take a pic for my instagram?"

- Knees weak, arms spaghetti, eyes twitching, glas in my hand breaking. Getting ready to cut his wrists and let the blood make that monstrosity choke on its own japanese movement.

I talked to some Japanese bro this weekend who was wearing a Speedmaster Reduced. He had a super small wrist, and the Speedmaster Reduced looked completely different when compared to the Professional. So much smaller.

One of my biggest pet peeves is quirky mouth movements when people talk. I spend much of my time during conversation, movies, TV shows, etc watching a persons mouth and getting annoyed if it does abnormal things. That guys lips made me want to punch babies.

Lolololol never even thought about that.

No, it is because I'm so angry that I want to cause pain to something that has literally never done anything wrong.

Brb walking into hospital and punching all the new born babies in their little incubator things.

But just to clarify, by incubator things I do not mean those things that premature babies go into. Cause that's technically like an artificial womb and I'm not down for womb punching.

Hello FUKKERS,

I went to my Professor's house and helped her move some boxes around. Her husband is an absolute hoarder. Found this under a whole bunch of debri:

Watch worked perfectly. Anyone know what that weird texture is? I think it's on the dial. I can't see it when the watch is in the sun.

Is the watch yours now? It's worth $1k. Not sure what texture you mean. More pics?

I was at a second hand watch store recently and they were selling a used IWC for 2 grand over what I paid for mine new 3 years ago.

Do not regret growing older. It is a privilege denied to many

Not mine. It looks like there is oil all over the dial or something. It's not a clear dial.

yo wristwatch crew; long time lurker here, just made an account. Obviously cannot post pictures, but new into watches, after about a solid year of research I picked up a Tag Hueuer Aquaracer, WAK2180.BA0830, the black titanium one with the ceramic bezel. Soon as I can I will post a photo. The thing is a beast.
Next watch will either be a Sekio SARG007, imported from Japan ($300) or a cheap G.Shock beater watch, preferably with a world time function.

Quartz, new
Pretty aesthetic for the price - when I saw this watch and strap combo I knew I had to have it
(does not look nearly as good with the cheap bracelet it comes with)

Sorry for slow reply, brah. I liked the 114060 over the 116610 because i initially wasn't keen on the cyclops and the thought of simply picking a watch up and setting the time appealed to me (but I've not let it stop once since buying it as it's never left my wrist ). It's personal preference tbh. If I wanted a black Sub it would be a 114060 but I would also consider the 116610LV if you feel a little fruity. Fantastic watches, finish, movement and the bracelet/clasp is so fuarking comfortable. They hold their money so well so you wont ever lose your ass on a Sub purchase (unless you pay full retail of course).
If you can find a local Rolex AD don't be afraid to spend some time looking and trying on the various models, you may not click with something you initially like the look of.
