That was a really great team win.

Other than that 2nd Viks drive, which was a questionable PI to keep the drive going followed by a big blown coverage by Witherspoon, the defense was absolutely dominant. This is definitely starting to look like the defense we started the season with. I love seeing Bosa showing up big and Armstead, Ford and Buckner all getting some as well. It was great to see a takeaway and a big play on special teams by Mostert as well

Offensively, I think we did pretty well. Jimmy G, other than that one WTF throw, did pretty well. I counted 4 dropped passes that really hurt their momentum and made his stats look worse, but he did well overall. Running the ball at will was awesome too. It's crazy to think that Kittle really didn't have a huge game, neither did Sanders, and we still had a dominant offensive showing. The O Line weathered the storm as well and did a pretty good job of protecting Jimmy G. The dropped passes (I think 2 by Bourne) were the most alarming to me so hopefully we can clean that up as well as the fumble trouble (Breida really needs to sit back IMO he isn't playing well, not sure if he's dealing with something)

Great game overall and very motivating win! This team really looks great right now. I think we can beat either the Packers or Seattle, and we have a shot at a SB win if we keep this play up

I can’t get over how bad Spoon looked. I’m still shocked at the TD he gave up. He’s fuking looking back at the ball. That’s a pick or at worst a batted ball like 99 out of 100 times.

I wanted to give him a chance but no more…sit his ass moving forward.

Trying to find our injury report. I saw Mostert hurt his calf but hoping it’s nothing serious and he was kept out late as a precaution.

Need to stay healthy. Get right for next week and have another dominant win. Then get ready for the scary AFC team we’d be facing if we take out the NFC team in our way.

I feel like we'll be coming out relatively healthy. I was a little worried about Jimmy's ankle after that play where we had to burn a timeout in the 1st half and with Bosa being slow to get up. Hoping they'll be ok as well as Mostert. Vikings were playing tired after the first half so luckily the team didn't eat a lot of big hits

Really excited to watch these next 3 games. It's awesome to be in this position and to be the most dominant team in the playoffs so far

It really sucks. We were at the soccer game and was trying not to watch it as they had it and it playing (indoor soccer). I was a little nervous but happy to see a huge win. Can’t wait to watch it in about an hour.

Nothing but respect to the 9ers fans who ALL were cool to me ITT.

You guys were the much better team and dominated in all phases of the game.

Your defense is crazy fast. Like even when they screw up on a play, the recovery speed makes you not even know otherwise.

Good luck the rest of the way.

Mostert was a cramp, Coleman a minor elbow injury (I think from that suplex play) and anyone else was just minor bumps and bruises, thank god Jimmy seems OK and Bosa was a wind knocked out. Amazing we got out of there with nothing worse, especially how much some of the guys on defense coming back played.

That bye week was so ****ing huge, especially not having one since week 4, man we got guys back, looked rested and ready to ****ing play. The defense especially you could tell the difference, we were back to being DOMINANT. They set a record for lowest yards allowed in a playoff game and only allowed 7 first downs. Abysmal numbers for Cook and Cousins and if it wasn't for garbage time and that big play Spoon gave up they would have had even worse numbers. We got pressure, sacks, and the defense was flying around making gang tackles all day.

Really glad they took Spoon out, he wasn't cutting it and I was in favor of starting Mosely but glad they didn't waste time getting him out of there. I know they prolly started Spoon for confidence factor but let him get right over the offseason, Mosely has been better lately and we can't have a liability out there.

Wish the offense was a little more consistent with some drops, weird penalties, and fumbles sprinkled in I'd like that cleaned up. Jimmy looked ok throwing early when he wasn't pressured but the pick was bad. Luckily the run game was working and we're well rounded. I don't think we'll face a pass D as good as the Vikings have the rest of the way either so that's nice. Their CB's were weaker today and lately but they have solid DL, LB, and S play.

Man I want to see Brieda succeed not sure why he's having trouble hanging onto the ball, and Bourne today was bipolar either making big plays or dropping easy one. I love Deebo fighting for yards but gotta protect the rock. Overall it was enough to get the win today but I'd like to see us better next week. I think the playoff game intensity and nerves played a role for guys in first playoff start (maybe rust too) but overall it was enough to get the W and that's all that matters. Plus in the playoffs you gotta run the ball and play D and we sure as hell did and can do that.

Looking forward to relaxing and watching the rest of these games and seeing who we play next week after tomorrows game. Titans and Ravens already good game and the upset alert is on. We'll see what happens the rest of that one and tomorrow. Glad we got our job done.

I still think its ridiculous the level of hate/disrespect this team gets but I sure appreciate it too to keep them motivated. Everyone said our game would be close or that we could lose and meanwhile Ravens would roll and all this stuff about us all the time. Keep doubting, it's all good.

And Ravens gone, I didn't think they were SB favorites but I could have seen them getting there. You only get one chance in the playoffs. Titans looking good right now. Run game huge in the playoffs and their defense got it done too, those two things will take you far in the playoffs.

Playoffs this year have all been great games IMO and I'm glad we're still in it after today.

Thanks man. Your D is pretty good but the bye week definitely helped us out. Had we met in the wildcard round things could’ve been different.

I would’ve been pulling for you guys if we didn’t get the W. Viking fans deserve to see a SB win.

Winning playoff games in the NFL simply isn’t easy. One off game and you’re going home even if you’d win 99 out of 100 times vs that team.

I don’t want to look ahead to the SB cuz GB and Seattle both have terrific QBs and some talented players on the squad. And I don’t really want to look ahead to the AFC since we have to still win next week before worrying who we’re playing or if we”re playing in the SB.

However me looking ahead doesn’t mean chit for the team, as long as they’re not doing it. So if I had to pick our opponent I wouldn’t want to play KC. Their speed, QB and playmakers on offense and their pass rushers on D makes me nervous.

We’ll see how they look tomorrow or next week but I’d be very surprised if at this point they’re not the AFC team. If we make it our OL and DL better play their asses off.

49ers have all the tool to win the SB - only concern: Jimmy

not the first time he has thrown an interception close to his goal line when they are commanding the game - he need to have more game awareness is those situations.

I don't remember the name of the guy in the middle of the D but the dude was making vikings OL his bitch - good games boyos

What really amused me was the laid back smiley faces that the players had the whole game. I went to college out there and have family out there and know how people are but for it to show up in a high pressure game like this one was huge!
Guys were laughing and pounding their chests while posing the entire game. Bosa was doing his WWE showman stuff and the fans were eating it up.
This is a fun team to watch with many entertainers and showman.
Go 49ers.

Not really concerned with Jimmy. He made one bad throw. He went 2-1 through the "gauntlet" schedule when the run game wasnt all that. He is a good QB who will make 1 head scratcher a game but is clutch when he needs to be.

He’s done a pretty good job of avoiding those type of interceptions in recent weeks so hopefully this will be a wake up call for him that in the playoffs you have to see that or not risk it.

It looked really bad and I’d like to see the tape in what happened. Certainly looked like Jimmy didn’t see him or just didn’t think Kendricks could make the play.

Overall I’m not worried about Jimmy any more than I would be any other QB. I’m not at a point yet where I trust him to move the ball at will but it’s close. Especially on 3rd down. Just need our guys to stop dropping stuff. Bourne is so weird. He’ll make some awesome grabs then drop a super easy one.

Plus Vikings D is no slouch. And Jimmy is a rhythm passer. First drive was a good showing of that. He’ll be ok but does have to work on looking off defenders or accounting for them.

When the guys said in post game interviews that they dont care who they face in the next round, that is when I knew they were/ are super confident.

yeah he has been getting better - just kinda annoyed that sometimes he doesn't "think" u can't throw int near the goal line (either team) - one cost you at least 3pts (FG) and in the other direction pick 6, TD, or FG.

biggies issue is letting the other team back in the game when they are pretty much dictating the pace of the game.

I don’t worry about Jimmy. We might just have to deal with those boneheaded plays from time to time but he’s money when we need him. That first drive was awesome. Hopefully he’s still got a ton of room to grow and he can eliminate those bad plays but even if not he’s a good quarterback. It’ll just be the difference between him being great.

That win reminded me of early season wins. Dominant run game, dominant defense. I love that we’re the healthiest we’ve been all year right now. That bye week was perfect and we absolutely needed it looking back at that Seattle game.
Horny.

The INT was a bad throw, but he had at least 2-3 other ones where the WR completely bailed him out by making a great play on an inaccurate ball though. This was before the game got out of hand though.

This is true but Jimmy makes those throws knowing its high risk, high reward, and in some cases nothing comes of it and its incomplete. We know this going in and other than the 1 pick it didn't make a big difference other than a few damn that was close moments.

Looking forward to both games today but especially the NFC. One thing I'm hoping for is the more mobile QB's lose. So although Tannehil and Rodgers and Mahomes can move I'm hoping those are the three QB's left and not Wilson and Watson after today lol. Although the Texans may be a worse team overall than the Chiefs (you never know what you're gonna get with the Texans). All things considered I like our chances against any of the teams left and we're gonna have to play who's in front of us, been that way all year and will stay like that.
