My fav is the "Rose Salmon" dial. Not as 'meh' as the white dial. Not as played out as the blue dial. Not as polarizing as the green.







Edit: shiiiiiid, i forgot they made a grey version too. Poor man's lange or not, this is such an awesome design. Love the execution

Holy fuking noiiice. That's exactly what I've been looking for. Last timeI checked with my gray dealer and he could get it for me for about retail. This is pre corona a few months ago.

The irony is the president is only on PM, and the exact opposite next to it on oyster flex is only on PM. The president is great, but no micro adjustments, and if your wrist is over ~7" you'll need an extra link and they're like $900 each. Absolutely top notch though.

Im just under 7…luckily? But have always thought the bracelet just looks cool. PM to me just seems silly since it looks essentially stainless unless you really know what youre looking at.

For some reason, a jubilee/fluted/blue or rhodium face datejust is starting to catch my eye. But really holding out my luck for a BLNR later. Thing that's annoying is i'd really like to put on a BLNR in jubilee, various DJ sizes (i think the 41 may be too big but not sure), and go toss on the 38mm APs. I have a thing for blue….so. But the problem is actually being able to try crap on like this is virtually impossible.

Yeah even as a Rolex hater, I had to succumb to the fact that there's so many configurations of the DJ it's almost impossible to not find one you like.

I'm in the same boat as twovalve on sizing though. On one hand I've tried on a 38mm and 41mm aqua terra, and it was clear as day i needed the 41 for my frame. On the other hand, i've tried on the 42mm explorer2 and it looked big and ugly.

In any case, i'm still only 4months into ownership of my BB Bronze and I still love it, and i'm trying to stick to a "1 watch per year" rule. This will likely be the configuration i pickup at the end of the year though.

looking to get a diver to add to collection for summer wear/very casual. my Aqua Terra can be that but looking for something a bit more casual and a diver. $500 or less.

looking at the Tissot Seastar and thinking on it. I saw it at a Macy’s in Blue awhile back the blue dial that fades to black is gorgeous.

any thoughts?

And given the virtual cawq sucking you have to do at rolex, seems like it would be painful to go "i want a DJ41, jubilee, blue face, fluted bezel." Considering that's $200 more than a BLNR (msrp), might as well try my luck with that. And the BLNR's seem to be creeping downwards on the grey market.

PM meaning precious metal. The platinum links are gonna be a lot more than $900. I usually don't notice heft that much, including the DD in that picture, but I've tried on the platinum DD and Daytona and it's insane how heavy they are. And the easy way to tell the platinum versions are that they have the ice blue dial.
