Yeah why not I'm big, strong and sorta fast. If I can get lean and into the bobsled there is an advantage with a bit of extra weight.

Gotta do something to change things up to get me going again.
I'm with you, man. Really struggling to just find the time to get to the gym. And when I finally do, it's brutal seeing how far I've slid backwards.

Motivation? IDK…Stay fresh by seasonal change ups?

Spring..cut a little and adding some cycling (doing a cancer fund raising ride in June)…trying this year for first time.
Summer..strength lifting+conditioning WODs (kind of a crossfit typa thing) mornings only thanks
Fall Winter: play hockey-do Oly lifting..evenings only..no conditioning necessary

Plan for next few years anyway.
Please record my time/reps if I pass out

I was talking about myself lol…dealing with muscular imbalances and heel tendinitis right now. I miss doing squats.

I know you were talking about yourself. I just didn't know if you were fukking with me. I ALSO miss doing squats. I feel your pain. But I miss benching the most.

As for my high horse, my horse is low and it sucks. I've tried lots of PWO. That's not the problem. The problem is, i work a really physical and mentally draining job and Im a full time mom and my gym is 1/2 hr away. It's embarrassing, but there are plenty of nights when I end up in bed when the kids do. Most ppl say "go after the kids go to bed". Leave at 8, get there at 8:30 get 1.5 hours lifting in before the gym closes. Get home at 10:30 showered and in bed by 11. And start over. I know some people do it. But I guess Im a ****ty super human.

My strength numbers are like half of what they use to be since I'm training not as frequent, not as intense and focusing on other things. I'm doing high volume so 10-20 reps depending on how I'm feeling. Have some goals for that like work to 315 for 10 on bench, 405 for 15+ on squat, etc.

I'm just lazy right now haven't been to the gym in a week and finding any excuse to not go.

Woo a new gym is opening up near me that I'm waiting eagerly to switch to vs my current gym. Hope the rates are good and it's 24hr gym.

Right now Bench I could probably squeeze out maybe 3 reps on a good day. Squat maybe 5+.

But from what my training was I never got close to those weights since I was working on moving fast but the strength can come back.

Finally, something I am as strong or stronger than you at!

Until your strength comes back . . .

My bench has always been at poverty levels due to my shoulders. But once my numbers come back should be fine.

Also you've been lifting way more constant than I have from looking at your profile pic.

Nah, I just look bigger because I'm too scrawny and can't keep any real muscle or fat on to get proper strong.

I'm sure with your size and explosiveness you'll be crushing it in no time. Just gotta get that hunger and motivation back.
