jobs report bit better than predicted.

good job report = fed tapering means bad for tech/growth

10 year yield might have found bottom this week.

could value stocks be back on the menu.

flip side tech/growth would love

if delta variant starts to ramp up with schools starting next month.

very very tricky to be right trying to position anything going into fall/winter.

if you look at futures.

looks like many things have peaked

gold / platinum / copper / grains etc all have come back to reality as supply is catching up

even oil looks like it peaked could not get over 2018 level rejected at $76.

https://finviz.com/futures_charts.ashx?t=METALS&p=w1

I am certain that end of August/September there could be healthy normal pull back if fed changes tone.

one more thing

PLTR is more like POS

never ever will you see shiiter chart from technicals

5-6 months of nothing.

this next earnings better be best earnings otherwise under $20 it goes

Two other commodities I've been watching are lithium (as a gauge for battery cost + affordability) and coal, both of which are on fukn huge unabated rallies

Coal companies have obviously been crushed over the long term with the overall move away on the power generation side, but a stock like BTU could have been an insane value buy as recently as the end of 2020

Problem with that chart its way back from December how much room can it go that its up 1000%

You want to be looking at something that took correction in June and if its starting to go again if market is turning again.

ie . NUE / DE / DD / banks etc.

Obviously I am reaching a bit here, we have no idea if this is fake out today.

One good job report is not enough for fed to reduce buybacks they want consistent over 1 million and unemployment under 5 percent.

Yeah definitely not something I would buy right now, but I was talking about BTU in a different forum back when it was $8 and analysts had it at $11 fair value. Can only imagine people who know coal have made a lot of money off this

The intraday 52wk low from $0.80 to a high of $12.52 lol

BTU financials are horrific.

https://wallmine.com/nyse/btu

This feels like something that is gonna cliff dive soon.

If you look at all the thermal coal companies.

I wonder why BTU is ripping so much harder, this definitely ain’t an industry I know

Coal feels like a typical boom and bust commodity cycle amplified by the enviro pressures. Everyone stops investing in coal production and then SURPRISE energy demand continues to increase beyond the pace of renewable capacity and less stringent parts of the world ramp up demand

What’s gonna happen with oil over the long term with similar pressures but a much larger market, I guess time will tell

GLD is at 164.5 and critical support is coming up here in the 162 range. It might bounce but then at 172 it’ll face strong resistance.
