Arisaka brahs…Have 2 Type 99s.

First one is early/mid war with chrome lined bore. Mum intact. Matching serial numbered bayonet.

So I know a little about them.

Second one is late war, last ditch. Obviously no chrome lined bore, but it's still decent looking. Ground mum. Action is smooth.

My experience with late war K98ks dated 1945 has me a little gun shy. Anyone shot a last ditch Type 99 and lived? How much string and distance do I need to shoot it?
