I guess it is the make the strength stronger…and concerns with some guys coming back from injury although kinlaw has seen some.

Again, another guess, the assumption Kyle can make an offense with any personnel and hoping Hurd fits nicely. We have nothing on speed tho.

I don't mind the pick at all. Look at what brought us success last year and we lost some guys to injury there and Buckner gone. WR's will be there later on and in trades. Hopefully Kinlaw is a beast for years to come.

F*ck the Raiders. They’re totally gonna waste Ruggs.

I’m ok with Kinlaw. After LV stole Ruggs I honestly didn’t care what we did. Glad we got a 4th rounder out of the baby trade. Kinlaw has some concerns but has crazy talent and playing next to Bosa, Armstead and Ford should help for sure.

If he turns into a Chris Jones player for us obviously it’s a slam dunk. He has to get consistent and has to stay healthy(like everyone else)

Hope we can still find ourselves a legit WR in the next pick.

It’s obvious they really like our roster. Our two biggest losses were Buckner and Sanders. Kinlaw and Aiyuk replace them for cheap contracts.

Can they play as well as those guys remains to be seen but the talent is there. I’m more bummed at us moving up for Aiyuk but I’ll trust Kyle. The talent is def there. My biggest concern with him was he ran a chit load of screens in college but if Kyle isn’t worried about his route running then I’ll trust him. He was one of the best RAC guys in college last year so since we couldn’t get Ruggs, we went with a Deebo type imo.

Gonna suck to see all this talent come off the board tomorrow with no picks in forever but it’s a solid first round. Potential for both is legit.

I trust the process. I also feel better that my top guy went before our pick. Maybe we can get some more picks moving Coleman/Breida and Goodwin.

Definitely not the draft I was expecting but I liked the trading. Kinlaw I was always fine with as long as we got a WR. Aiyuk isn’t the guy I wanted or even considered we’d get but I 100% trust Shanahan with that pick. I was always preferring we stuck with our first rounders over trading back and acquiring picks. We have a SB roster. Give me 2 dynamic players over a dozen prospects with potential, where half of them don’t even make the roster and the other half are coming in on third downs and special teams.
Horny.

At least your top guy wasnt available!!! We passed on mine (Lamb) only to pick another WR later.

I dont know why i have draft crushes. I need to stop.

But i agree with everything you said. Did yall see Kyles smile after we selected Aiyuk? Dude was like a kid in the candy store.

Yeah apparently he said Aiyuk was his favorite WR in the class and Lamb was #2 so maybe they didn't like Ruggs as much as I thought(though I still feel like they did and he didn't wanna tip his hand for what he wanted moving forward but that's just my tinfoil hat moment making myself feel better)

I feel it's something every team says just like they did in 2017 when they said Thomas and Foster were #2 and #3 on their draft board. Maybe it's true…but who knows.

Either way I certainly hope this duo is more like our Willis/Staley double up in the first round versus the 2017 one. We picked Willis at 11 and Staley at 28. Kinlaw at 14 and Aiyuk at 25.

11+3 = 14
28-3 = 25

We don't have picks for the next 3 rounds

I am really hoping to see something crazy happen today where we see a pick or two… We would have to see some trades with Coleman, Goodwin and maybe Breida? At least those are the ones I have seen talked about. Either way I feel better about the picks after sleeping on it and reading up a little more. YAC is great, but it would still be nice to have a true #1 receiver. Aiyuk seems pretty cool since there is a small relation to me now… lol.

I just don't see it. IMO if we're picking today it's likely we gave up a starter or a future first…which I don't want us to do.

I think best case scenario is we get a 4th+ but I don't see anyone on our roster I would like to see traded who would actually net us even a 3rd round pick. Player values are so much lower during the actual draft. We probably got screwed on the Goodwin trade with Eagles getting Reagor.

We'll see what happens. We added a couple of good players but it does suck to sit out a full day of drafting and possibly still another round after it. There's gonna be some really good players coming off the board today and early tomorrow. Just hope we can get a couple of more picks from guys who would be cut anyways and find some late round gems again.

Need ourselves another Greenlaw/Kittle/Jones find. Preferably in the secondary.

I doubt we will see anything like that either but I just want to see something crazy happen. The only 2 positions I would like to see now is secondary and maybe some oline help. Other than that I have no clue as I really do not follow this as closely as you guys.

Yeah IOL/CB are definitely the positions I'd like to see us address with our remaining picks. There are some intriguing corners who may be there and IOL is one position that you can find later round steals in more often than other positions.

Hope our guys get it done again.

I’m not sure Goodwin could have any lower value. We would be lucky to receive a 7. Just take him so we can shed the Contract and dead money when we cut him.

Trent Williams agent has said an NFC team is interested, believed to be 49ers - per sources. Makes sense. Kyle Shanahan was w/ the Redskins when Trent was drafted, Joe Staley is 35, want to win now. No deal has been made. Also, does not appear MINN has any interest at this time.

I’m sure Shanahan would love to have him, just too many things don’t make sense:

-What assets would we trade them?
-How would we give afford to give him the extension he wants?
-Snyder hates the Shanahan’s
-Staley?
Horny.
