I think so, but Vike fans needs to realize "good picks" don't necessarily translate to "win now" picks. We need to retool now for future seasons when we have cap relief.

I don't think i've ever seen a bigger draft class lol. It will be curious to see how many make the roster. I thought you guys had some really good picks. Should be a really fun competition for you guys.

After looking everything over I'm pretty happy with where we landed. I think we are still a question mark at WR (potentially) but we could also shine there depending on how Hurd and Aiyuk do.

It's all about limiting injuries now

Yep, playing late into a season doesn't always bode well for the following year and injuries, but Covid-19 may help with that. We will see.

Yeah from what it could've been I really can't complain.

My two biggest gripes(and they're pretty small in the grand scheme of things)

Having to play the Pats after they come off a bye week…any coach I don't want to see with extra time to prepare is Belichick
The 4 game stretch vs the Pats(off their bye on the road), going to Seattle then short week vs Packers and then going to New Orleans. That's a lot of travel with some pretty good teams mixed in.

But really those are small gripes and who knows if the fans will even be in the stands for those games so the whole home/road thing may go out the window. Best team wins and if we stay healthy I'm not afraid of any of those teams. Just have to play smart and play our game.

Is it football season yet?

Don't think this thread has been deader lol but that's sports talk these days.

So weird not to get any news post draft related to OTAs/rookie camps for at least a taste of how guys are looking.

Going to be a strange season and will really show how many guys are fully committed and can keep self motivated and working hard to stay in shape/get better…etc

Rookies will have a tough time of it too. We're in a good situation in that regard because we have a very top heavy draft but while getting Aiyuk up to speed and heavily involved in the offense will take time(Kyle's offense and lack of OTAs/minicamps) Kinlaw should be able to make an impact early on simply due to the position group he'll be playing with.

Funny enough it seems like the fanbase has REALLY gotten behind the Kinlaw pick as they've learned more about him. It's almost becoming too much hype with the kid, I've seen someone make a Reggie White comparison. That's just laughable.

Now Kinlaw does come in at a super impressive blend of size/muscle/athletic ability and his ceiling is very high considering he's gotten most of his production in the SEC purely on his athletic ability/size. He's coming into a great situation where he can work on his technique and really turn into a special player. Coach K and the other guys we have on the roster I'm sure will be happy to show him how to put that athletic ability and size to good use assuming he's willing to put the work in(and hopefully he does)

As usual health is our big question mark. Kinlaw has some(IMO minor but some) concerns about his knee. Ford had all sorts of issues last year and needs to stay healthy to really help the pass rush. WRs being an unknown behind Deebo and Bourne.

If we stay healthy and avoid key injuries this team can be really special. The Pandemic adds some uncertainty but it's there for every team. Hopefully our guys stay self motivated and become one of the few teams who are able to get back to the SB after losing it and win it.

Deebo said he, Bourne and Sanders would show up to practice an hour early to watch film together.

If only that blue haired fuk that has all the potential in the world would’ve showed up too. Guy could be Keenan Allen but just doesn’t have the drive or the dog in him.

I came across this little bit of info and thought others might want to know.

1. Only 2 CBs were targeted 250+ times over the past decade and allowed a completion rate of less than 50%:
Richard Sherman 49.6%
Darrelle Revis 49.8%

2. Lowest passer rating allowed when targeted in 2019

1. J.C. Jackson - 37.0
2. Tre'Davious White - 46.3
3. Richard Sherman - 46.8
4. Stephon Gilmore - 47.4

Not bad huh?

Yep! Nothing really going… Still stuck working from home with my kids as there is no school. Looks like this will be going on until August for us. Thankfully I have been busy with home projects. Currently building a deck in the backyard.

Seeing reports that the team and little are not even close to a deal. I am not sure on what I think. He is an amazing player and one of the best on the team. But if we pay him top receiver money we are going to run into cap issue later on. Boss is another player we will have to pay at some point and he is going to ask for a ton of money as well.

This team hasn’t had any credible leaks from within since Baalke got the boot. Fact that Mike Silver is reporting on this means it’s Kittle’s agents working the system.

The deal will get done. Don’t worry about it. We’re not letting George walk and I don’t see him holding out knowing what’s at stake this season.

Bosa can’t even ask for a new deal for another 2 seasons.

Crap… From what I am reading it is the same injury as what Talyor had? Hopefully Deebo has no set backs from his recovery.

Definitely could've done without the Deebo injury and the Covid exposure to like 70% of the offense.

All I'm saying is everything went to sh*t after the Chiefs won the SB. Thanks NFL.
