All the guys working out in Tennessee which is virtually every QB, WR and TE on the roster was exposed to covid.

Tests are coming in so we'll see what happens. Sounds like a bunch of negative tests so far but they may not say anything if someone is positive unless they admit it or their agent does(see Zeke Elliot)

What is his QBR going to look like 2 years post-COVID and 4 years post-ACL surgery? A genius told me that’s when a QB’s peak performance is apparent.
All it takes is Mookie Betts, Steph Curry, and Joe Burrow all sitting in the same car in order for one drunk driver to make the world a significantly better place.

I don’t think I am going to try to watch much this year. Even if we can go to games I doubt I will go. Gone very year since the stadium opened.

I’m a cuck for football. I don’t care for the BLM stuff but I’m watching with zero fuks given about the flag. I hate seeing political stuff during football, regardless of right/left, but I can’t stop watching. I’m a fiend. Give me my crack.

I’m probably going to watch but I’m definitely not into it as much as i usually am. I know a bunch of people who aren’t going to watch if they start kneeling for the flag.

The NFL and other sports leagues will lose fans and won’t gain any. The people who want all of this don’t watch sports and aren’t season ticket holders.

Generally speaking, i just ignore the things that i am not interested in.
That can be at the gym, at a sporting event ( live or in person) or on TV.
Politics have been in sports since Jessie Owens at the olympics with Adolf.

It's on the stadium. Who gives a sh*t? It's not even politics, it's human decency. Now if they're bringing out that flag as part of the National Anthem like they do the American flag then we can talk.

You literally have to look for it when in the stadium so if you don't care for it…all you have to do is watch the game which I would think is why you'd go to the game.

A BLM flag displays human decency? That organization is nothing but political, it's a marxist organization by its founder's own admission. It's the idea that they are bringing all this outside nonsense in to the game which is only going to distract people. At best people ignore it, at worst you drive people away. Like Miked said, you aren't bringing anyone in who is gonna say "Oh wow a BLM flag I'm going to watch the 9ers now"

Regardless, I'll fast forward through any of the BS like I did when they were kneeling

There isn’t nothing that can divide people more than politics.

People need to realize that and let these companies/corporations remain neutral instead of trying to “cancel” them bc the CEO donated money to some candidate or they didn’t go out of their way to support some cause.

People get sick and tired about politics and social justice issues bc honestly they will never end. When we watch sports we want to escape the world we live in and watch the sports we love. I don’t want to see politics injected into that.

I guess where we disagree is context.

You see the BLM flag as a political statement. I see it as a social statement. I don't have an issue with the team telling their black players, fans, employees, etc that they care about them and stand with them to end racism and racial discrimination.

Maybe it's all a calculated statement by the 49ers and if so it's a smart one. End of the day football is about unity and the biggest team sport out there. The 49ers showing support to black players won't hurt them come free agency.

If the message causes people to stop watching them that says more about those people IMO.

I watch football for the sport/entertainment just like you but I don't have an issue with the team showing support for this. I don't think it will mess with the game and now that it's out there it's not a case of just one guy doing it without talking it over with the ownership/roster.

They give them millions of dollars to run around with an egg, I think they care about them just fine. The whole BLM / police issue is largely a non-issue perpetuated by the media. It's pure virtue signalling, that's all

I don't wanna turn this thread into a social/political debate so I'm just gonna keep it simple.

You ever get pulled over by the cops? If so assuming you didn't have illegal sh*t in the car or had a warrant out on you, did you ever feel worried about your life? Or just annoyed you got popped?

Looking at Austin Hoopers contract, that is a tier below Kittle, 13 million is a joke. I doubt that happens

Not going down that road, because it's bull**** and 100% a lie, so we'll end it there

OMG… So crazy to see Mahomes contract. I am really curious to see a breakdown of it every year and it how much it plays against their cap. And now it sets the bar for every QB moving forward. Lamar Jackson is getting close to looking at one too.

His agent is playing this all wrong. He has zero interest and, although a baller considering, a product of a great system. He needs Shanahan much more than Shanahan needs him…especially if Mckinnon works out. It would be nice to still have Breida now.
