That Seiko Arnie arrived. Happy with the size. The way people were talking I was expecting it to be double the actual size.

I'd only play that game once because you're not going to get it under $120 and they're selling brand new for $160. I'd just buy it and be done if i lost the auction. Speaking of Gshocks though, if I don't land the blnr this winter and end up with the omega grey side of the moon, I can see myself picking up the GMWB5000D-1 next summer just to have something on steel to throw on casually.

I need to stay off TRF, it's fuking up my grasp on reality. Most guys' beaters over there are $3,000 Tudors or $8,000 non-preciousmetal submariners.

Keeping watches on a winder is terrible for the movement, no?

Me too, especially considering i can be rough on things at times, and that they are somewhat more "fragile" than a Rolex.

Trying real hard to convince myself that I don’t need, or want, this:

I’d have to move at least one watch, maybe 2, to feel ok about this…

The only one I really have attachment to is the Omega.

The Tag is what I wear when I go surfing, or outdoor stuff (helpful to track when I need to put on sunscreen. 100% serious lol)
The all black one is a Raymond Weil Urban Freelancer, Zero attachment, just was an early pick up when I got into watches, and just haven’t done anything with it.
The Breitling is a gorgeous piece, but it’s fuarkin massive (wrist genetics of piss)

I love that JLC. It gets posted in here a lot. I want one on either a black leather strap or the brown strap.

Hello gents, glad to see everyone is still around! I picked up a new piece last weekend, I haven't had anything over a 40mm for probably 10 years so was hesitant at first but feel it wears really well for a 42mm. Very happy with it and think Explorer II's represent very good value what with the insane Rolex market

If ya'll were me would you keep the aqua terra on the metal bracelet, or would you throw it on a leather strap?

Leather 90% of the time. Only metal if I feel the need to “church it up” for something and the leather doesn’t seem to do it.

Thanks guys. Now to decide if I want to fork out the cash for the legit Omega leather strap, or go aftermarket…would probably be around 2-300 for aftermarket, and 5-600 for the official.
