i've noticed in the past few months that the amount of girls from out of town on Hinge has gone up, since it's ski/snowboard season.

also noticed a lot of fake accounts. easy way to tell is if they're chinese and don't list my location as their current city, or claim to be 34 but look 23 at most. Their prompts look AI generated as well

I like to think to myself that unpleasant interactions with an angry person are only temporary moments for myself. The rest of the time, I can live my life quite happily.
For the angry people—it’s their entire world, every day for the rest of their lives because they choose to live that way. Thanks! We got some Mexican food and drinks. It went decent although she spent a lot of time talking about how she’s about to quit her job, and how supposedly all these girls are starting gossip about her etc etc, saying she ‘dresses too nice’ and only cares about money. I kind of gave her a pass about the complaining because I could tell she’s been stressed. Towards the end we went for a walk and I kissed her. Thought that went well and I suggested over text to see her soon. She ended up saying she didn’t feel a romantic connection, she was nice about it. It stung for a minute but I don’t think we were right for each other long term.

I hear you. I’ve met a few girls on hinge I’ve enjoyed talking to for a while, but nothing lasting. I agree it’s tough on there to find the right person. I’ve often blamed myself for that but it’s hard.
