Why oh why have I let such a beautiful piece sit in its box for nearly a year? Through my flipping phase I forgot to savor the watches I own. I'm glad this one never sold off, the asking price would have never done it justice.

alright bro's.

it's my brother's 40th birthday in a couple of months so my sister, mother and i decided to all chip in and buy him a rolex submariner.

it's a 2004 one i think, we got it last weekend. it looks incredible. definitely my favourite watch of all time. it was my choice so i hope he likes it.

he deserves it, he's awesome.

just picked up a Steinhart Ocean One GMT Ceramic, still cant post pics lol

really really nice, very nice weight to it and the GMT hand is perfect for family who live in the USA!

can u guys recommend a store where I can get nice rubber or leather straps, maybe in the next thread you could put some watch accessory sites in the OP

I miss my monster gen 2 with engineer typ2 bracelet. Would like to try the 007 though. I have the new mako usa and probably gonna send it back because I rather just save up for a FC or Oris. I do have a Sarb017 on the way I plan on keeping.

Unless I'm overlooking something he doesn't specify that it includes the original Rolex warranty card, just that it would have a warranty through that store, which would imply grey market in my opinion. That may not be a concern to you at all, just note that if it is Rolex will never service it if you sent it to them.

Worn my black bay nearly every day for a week now after sitting in its box for almost a year. It's a gorgeous piece. I've got the bracelet version and I'm ordering a gunny black bay strap for it that works with the OEM clasp I've got sitting at home. Very excite.
