Honestly the formula Renault thrill for 11 unaccompanied laps seems way more fun than tailing a pace car. Send that thing into a barrier like you're checo in FP1.

Edit: $299 to drive an f430, an Aston, and a f1000 car around Silverstone?

Wtf. How does $299 even cover insurance?

I think just renting a lamborghini for an afternoon will cost you 2-3k. I don't see how it's possible at all for them to give these kind of F1 car experiences for such low prices. I'd almost start doubting whether it's legit or some kind of scam.

Yeah especially at a track.

The odds of the average person wrecking is so high that I don't see how these prices are correct.

Literally a go-kart track costs more than this per hour for some of these prices.

Yeah I'm 100% sure it's a scam. Would recommend every miscer to stay far away from them.

Eh this seems to be the quote: “If I was in Sergio’s car, Max would not be having the same time he’s having now.”

Seems completely fair. I Hamilton would finish half a minute behind Max all the time and be missing Q3 half the time.

Not sure what else you'd get form that quote aside from him believing he'd beat Max.

Every top level racing driver thinks they can beat everyone else given equal machinery.

The two minutes was kinda unfair lol. I get that it's done to get the video quicker paced but of course any of them would be able to name Schumacher or Verstappen without that added time pressure.

Came in expecting to see you share the F1 vid about ranking the drivers from youngest to oldest. Leaving surprised.

Insane how quickly he got that unless they edited the piss out of it to make it seem like he picked it up much quicker than he really did.

Fking dude just understands cars and how to make them do what he wants them to do. lol

Honestly he spends so much time on simulators I don't doubt he could top-5 DAKAR right now.

Very obsessive driver.

Would be fun to see him compete in some other disciplines while also staying in F1. I'm guessing if he pressures his team saying it's either no more F1 for him or to give him the contract to allow him to compete in other chit while also doing F1 they'll bend the knee.

Imagine him dominating an F1 season and just randomly picking up a 24h or Lemans or something during the season.

Agreed,

I don't know how much Hamilton spends in the sims anymore, seems like the last few years he's doing more outside of F1 with "social warrior" bs, Climate, as well as getting into the NFL and other ventures. **** just takes time away, while Max is Maxing sim time. Seems like the younger kids, especially Russel and Lecler aren't putting in the time. I think the only one that might be is Lando, which makes sense as hes done pretty well in a **** car (**** until the upgrades came that is)

Also summer break bump :/

Just as a regular person, playing F1 2023 on my computer, I can learn so much about a track..... Where to lift/where not to lift, how far out to brake, what gear I'm in, brake balance, exact DRS zones, etc etc. It's pretty incredible how detailed it is.... And that's not even close to the accuracy of their simulators.

So to renew their super license, drivers have to pay a fee of 10,000 euros each year + 2140 euros for every point they score in the season. Fckn hell lmao Max is at 900,000 euros already and we only half way through

be funny to see him troll them and only give the money worth being 1 point ahead of second.

You'd think the points would be towards violations that hinder your license.

I remember a few months ago I watched a video on the craziest 10 or 20 rules in F1 and this one stood out a lot. It's so crazy you just assume it's not true. I have no idea what the thought behind this is.

FIA logic.

I'm sure if Max protested it, they would change it to something else, then another driver could protest it to go back, and then they'd do that, too.

No thought behind it beyond the FIA being greedy and constantly thinking of ways to exploit drivers, teams, etc for more money.

I'd love to see him try rallying. I've always thought that's the toughest discipline to master, and requires the best car control of any form of motor racing.

Looking at the odds right now, this might be a fun weekend to aim at some super-long-shots.

MAX is coming in @ 1.26 to win, this is a bit OVER-favorited considering how the redbull did on this track last year (not great compared to every other race)

Lewis and Norris coming in @ 17.00 to win. I'd put Norris as an obvious favorite over Hamilton for a straight win due to McLarens massive jump, and this high downforce circuit will benefit McLaren BIGLY.

I dunno, haven't betted anything yet.

GOATlonso @ 2.75 for a top 6.... hmmmmm
