Buy a Rolex for yourself if you appreciate them, want one, and can afford it. The sort of women that are worthwhile don't really care either way, so don't factor them into your decision.

Thank you very much. I believe this is the first time you've posted in this thread. I am keeping true to the wordspersistentandrespectfulthat I used in the thread title (particularly the wordpersistent). There's no joy in an unfulfilled, sexless, lonely life. I've lived that life for far too many years.

Agreed. Funnily enough, the autism-related video that Luc1fer posted is reminding me that I need to be calm, not acting like a dog greeting its owner who just came home from work.

I understand. I can afford it, but I've never been a fan of watches. A watch would merely serve as a prop/accessory. Perhaps something cheaper from Amazon will suffice.

There's something off with OP's personality. Feels like there is no core personality there, and could very easily swing to a new persona.

- Personality did a complete u-turn from many years back from looking at post history. I get it's normal to some degree to mature, but it's a complete u-turn. Like a different person.
- Says yes to literally every piece of "advice" on here, even when it contradicts previous advice. If xbluexhawkx jumps in again and says to wear tattoos, don't you think he will start it again?
- Was willing to sleep with a woman in a relationship. This contradicts the good-guy claim, it's unethical and lacking core values.

To be frank OP, I think you fit the stereotypical "nice guy" - which is a superficial persona that can flip. I think a lot of these women are picking up on it, and getting creeped out.

This is my limited impression so far, on limited information. So I could be completely wrong.

My advice is to figure out your real personality/identity and act honestly and openly on it. Being a "nice guy" isn't actually a positive thing.

Oi grammarbrah, I didn't say anything about positive reactions, I said you weren't getting any really negative reactions. Sure, the interest you've received has largely been lukewarm, but hey, no brutal rejections or outright negative reactions at least.

Alright alright, just heard so much about intention but haven't seen the results yet.

Re: a watch, I see absolutely no reason to drop thousands and buy a Rolex. A nice watch could be a cool accessory, but I can't imagine you'll garner the attention of any worthwhile chick solely because you're wearing a rolex.

You really seem to like the nuclear options. If I were in your shoes and dating/acquiring dates was my priority, a Rolex would be very far down on my to-buy list.

If you really wanted to throw money at the problem, I'd look at stuff like dating coaches or matchmakers. They run a hefty price (maybe $400-700 for standard consultation stuff from what I've seen), and I'm sure you'd have to be careful about making sure you get a decent one, but I think it'd be a helpful way of attacking the problem. They could definitely get a better feel for what's going on in your life than some strangers on a gay Indian bodybuilding forum could over text posts.

Next in my list would probably be interesting hobbies/events. Say you spend $10k on a rolex, that's a few years of a decently expensive hobby. $200.month membership at wherever, at $2400/year, that's 4 years. I'd be thinking about taking/joining expensive hobby lessons/classes that I would otherwise put off. Could also do more event-type stuff like going to more expensive music festivals, traveling to different countries, etc.

I think stuff like these are safer purchases than a one-off accessory since you have more avenues for utility. If you buy the watch and chicks don't gaf, you're SOL. If you go to a festival or class and don't meet a date there, you still have the chance to gain confidence and practice your social skills and even just enjoy the event. Maybe a Rolex is something that really interests you, but you haven't mentioned it elsewhere, so I don't expect that you care too much about it.

Would be curious to hear how other brahs would recommend spending disposable money (excluding celltech/hookers) if your sole intent is improving your dating life. I wouldn't count most attire/hygiene/grooming in this since it can be done cheaply enough.

I'd go with a Rolex or something similarly high end unless that's going to impact your finances. From what you've said, it sounds like you have plenty of money. Regardless, no cheap Amazon crap. It's not to impress a woman (you're not after a gold digger), but presenting yourself as someone who is accomplished, well put together, successful, confident. It's all part of the package. My advice may be useless here because you and I are different, and I do think the dorky / harmless / cute vibe may be working for you. Hell, you could have gotten laid with that girl who had the bf were it not for the 'tism. That would have been a bad move regardless. Anyway, my point is just that it all comes down to confidence. So choose an overall look with clothes and accessories that makes you feel good about yourself while not going overboard.

EDIT: I forgot you don't have a car. I would get that before any five-figure watch.

Do not, under any circumstances, come back to us with something like this!

As usual, generally agreed on all. The one caveat being idk if I'd say I think these women are getting creeped out - I haven't read their texts *that* closely, it's hard to just over text, and im_something_of_an_autist_myself.jpg.

Re: lacking a core personality, say what you want about BBMG, but he (at least in his non-doomer days) also seemed to have some circle of friends and social activities. I don't know what goes on in OP's life outside of approaching women at the gym and mall and on LinkedIn (and this goes for other misc FAs as well).

I don't mean creeped out to the point of pulling pepper spray or anything, they just sense something is off. On the surface, he's just a really nice nerdy guy.

But he's admitted to staying up awake thinking about women he's met briefly, obsessing over the chance to get with them, consuming his thoughts, thinking about family and kids in that beta orbiter situation.

That's desperate. Women can sniff this out (it's obvious from the texts). It makes them concerned over stalkerish behaviors.

Re: disposable money.

Iโ€™d invest it in social activities, building a reasonable wardrobe of stylish (not โ€œtrendyโ€) clothes and shoes, maybe some minor looksmaxxing stuff like teeth whitening, and getting drinks at popular local places where youโ€™re likely to run into girls that may be of interest.

I donโ€™t know much about dating coaches or matchmakers, but I imagine a lot of it is a scam and not worth wasting money on.

OP should probably try to develop at least a small group of male friends to go out places with instead of taking a female friend or his mom along to places where cold approaching is a possibility.

I never lose my temper with women ortell them off. I would never hurt them in any way. I'm genuinely respectful. I try really hard and as we've seen I sometimes come across as desperate and overly eager. It's been the same person the entire time. I will keep posting content that shows who I am and the progress I make. I say, "Yes," to the advice because I'm willing to make changes. I think your assessment of the "nice guy" is correct. I've read a few chapters of the bookNo More Mr. Nice Guyand I can see the horrendous nature of being stuck in that frame of mind.

Regarding the willingness to be with a woman who has a boyfriend: She and I made a strong connection. I don't have the luxury of passing up opportunities. I can't say, "No," just because the circumstances aren't ideal.

I suppose I would have answered differently if I were reading it withCritical Thinkingin mind. Yeah, no brutal rejections other than a few, "I don't give out my number," at the gym. I think a matchmaker is fine, but I'm not going to go to that extreme just yet. I could have gone to a speed dating event for 33-42 year olds this past Sunday evening. Instead, I went to the mall and had a hell of a time. I wouldn't have met insanely hot young women at that event, but I can if I hang out at the mall. Yes, I should travel. I intend to do some of these things you're suggesting, but not until I'm 10% body fat or less. Yeah, a Rolex would just be a prop for me to use and send unconscious signals that I'm a person worthy of their time. It's kind of like, "Hey, the last time I dressed up and hit on women I got zero numbers. Turn up the dial on style. Let's try a haircut, a new shirt, etc. If that fails, let's try a nice watch. If that fails, let's try a nice car, and so on."

Not sure if everyone is aware; I've written about it several times in this thread, but that's another option. Obviously these are desperation moves because I shouldn't have to own a specific object to get a woman to be my girlfriend. Absolutely, I believe the watch will serve to add to my style, not take away from it (as the fake tattoos may). I don't think I could have gotten laid with the woman who has a boyfriend unless I sent her my address that night and told her to take an Uber. I couldn't drive over there and pick her up since I returned my rental car a few hours earlier. Also, I would have been taking advantage of her since she's drunk, but ahhhh...sometimes I don't know how true of a statement that is. She was clearly drunk, but seemed aware enough? I don't really know. I don't have any regrets about it. If she wants me again, she'll have me (assuming I'm not in a relationship). I'm looking forward to showing off what new clothes and accessories I find. I won't get a dorky watch like that one.

Gym and mall, yes. I'm making changes such as going to the bars this weekend. I took a several-month-break from the mall because I wasn't getting any contact information. I've improved my wardrobe and gotten a little bit leaner since. I haven't tried hitting on women on LinkedIn in a while. It's lame and goes nowhere.

Yep, I've got to be assertive, yet maintain my composure and not be excessively eager. I need to beneurotypical. I obsess over some of them, but if I play my cards right then they'll never learn this unless I divulge it to them later on when we're already in a relationship.

I may try some microneedling or something similar to reduce the appearance of pores on my nose - that's something I'm self-conscious about since I have an oily nose. Before I go out, I use a cleanser, shower, then moisturize and put on 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant. I also use body powder around my groin area. I use deodorant, floss, brush my teeth, and use mouth wash. Friends would help. The only person I go out with now is my female friend.

Yeah, I wouldn't have thought you meantthatcreeped out. It's more your next thoughts that hit topics that always confuse me.

This is the stuff I'm always nebulous about ("women can smell desperation"). Certainly, I can at least see that OP does tend to overdo it on the texts.

Perhaps it's just me being hopeful since I know I get obsessive quickly - I certainly try to avoid it but meh. Something to worry about when/if I get back out there though.

Yeah, it's something I wouldn't spend on unless I was really desperate and had done the research. Some of them at least guarantee dates, so it struck me as a much better deal than juts pissing away however much on a Rolex.

OP should probably try to develop at least a small group of male friends to go out places with instead of taking a female friend or his mom along to places where cold approaching is a possibility.
That's all very much in line with what I was thinking.

Some of the biggest bullchit I've seen on the misc. You choose not to say "no."

I understand "turning up the dial," but you have many more steps before the next notch on the dial is "spend $10k on a small accessory."

Right. And why would OP be "bar hopping" if he is looking for a sloot that is on the same wavelenght as him (persistentandrespectful).

Seems like he should be going to some christian meet ups, or some green peace super nice girl thing, or getting only onlyautists.com and finding someone who can relate to him.

I meant it in the sense that I don't have other options available. If I turn her down, then I am back to 0 females (well, I was at the time). Now I've got a date this Friday and one next Tuesday. I'm excited about that, but neither of the women get me revved up the way women such asKdo. I don't know if I'd spend $10K on a watch, but I see what you mean. There are certainly cheaper things I can do before spending $10K on a watch becomes the next move.

I can't rule out a bar as a nice place to meet a woman. Those suggestions, such as Christian meetups, are not of interest to me.

By the way, this isK. I cannot get enough of her look. The fact that she's articulate and seems witty is so attractive. Puts her in a different stratosphere.

And? That's not the end of the world. So you don't pursue any women romantically for a week or more. Oh nooooo. Choosing to pursue a taken woman in that situation (or most any other situation) is not "respectful," to the say the least.

Was curious since I was pulling numbers out of my ass, but quick Google does have an "average" Rolex at $10k. I'm sure you could get more details from Catbrah or the Misc Wristwatch Crew though.

A few people are unsure whether OP is trolling.
OP has gotten a few handjobs from a longtime "friend" (?).
OP pursued some chick who had a boyfriend, she was flirty, bf got mad (understandably), they don't talk now.
OP has yet (to my recollection) to be on a date with a woman who is single.

I get your point. It's selfish of me to think that way. I think it's partly my insane desire to have sex with a beautiful woman. I'll look into watches tonight when I'm back from the gym, but will start with something stylish yet affordable (i.e., not a Rolex).

Since he said they donโ€™t interest him and that it would just be essentially a prop, I donโ€™t suggest he get one. However, the nice thing about Rolex is that the watches hold value extremely well such that you can often buy one (at retail), wear it a few years or until you get bored, and then get most or all of your money back depending on the model. At least on the menโ€™s sport models, youโ€™re never truly pissing the money away if youโ€™re paying retail.

Even with the chin and the faint mustache, I agree she is pretty hot.

But JFL the midriff and aggressive belly ring. She looks like the type that likes persistent and respectful guys.

Interesting. Almost sounds like an investment. Perhaps I shall diversify my portfolio.

But not immediately, I think. I can wait.

She has amazing facial harmony to me. She's really feminine and I just can't get enough of her. Lol'd at your last sentence. I'm going to keep trying things out. I hope she's receptive.

I approached a really gorgeous young woman at the gym, but she has a boyfriend. She wasn't rude about it, but I'm glad I know. I'm 3/10 now when it comes to getting numbers from females at the gym.

The mom I'm meeting next Tuesday for dinner is definitely horny. Here are some texts from earlier tonight.

Also, I intend to get a haircut this weekend to clean up the sides of my hair. I took this photo (right) tonight. I am referencing Kieran Warner, heh. I get mogged hard, but it is what it is. I feel like a nose job may be in my future, although some of the women I'm attracted to don't seem to mind it.
