Heard about a new Federal cartridge today. It's called .224 Valkyrie, which would be optimized for gas guns. Takes a 90gr match round and is supposed to stay super-sonic to 1,300yds.

.308 pattern cartridge? Can't imagine getting that kind of velocity out of anything smaller.

Realized I never posted this little storage shelf I made for all my non-bulk ammo. Nothing special but it gets the job done.

Can anybody recommend me a good pair of workboots? I'm sick of Timberlands falling apart after 1-2 years.

Need to make sure you're matching them to the type of work you're doing. I'm on concrete floors all day every day so I have Wolverine Durashocks. They might not hold up if I was outside all the time but I'll get a good 3 years out of these. I think 2 years is sort of normal out of work boots. Our boot voucher is 2 years for everyone inside and 1.5 years for welding/material handlers.

Just purchased a Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6. Had a $150 amazon credit, got the scope and a s.w.f.a mount for $350.
For $200, did i make a mistake?

how does everything work now? If more people are against/for, proposers fail/win? When can we expect the current stuff proposed to settle out/in?
