PKM machine gun. Have always wanted a semi auto, as I have plenty of surplus ammo that I bought years ago. Just never pulled the trigger due to the cost. Maybe one day, but for now my Aks and RPks will have to do

Looks blunt and open to me with a couple of reception devices to a detachment or a general feed back to a transmitter

I'm arguing nothing of the sort. It looks as though there is no warhead.

It may very well be a failed or shot down missile. I'm curious as to the claim. I don't ascribe to someone telling me what it is.

We are the only ones that can retaliate. Russian doctrine, which is followed to a T, dictates an escalation to de-escalate

Tactical nukes are not the traditional meaningful use of "nukes." They do not violate international law or treaty. They are of lower yield and of shorter range.

Idk I’m assuming the stinger hit the warhead and the missile debris is what we see in the pictures.

Hitting it with a stinger is a one and a million shots. It is possible. I hit a HIP at JRTC once doing a gun run on us so any thing is possible, I suppose.

My assessment:

-that is a Tochka for sure
-it’s inconclusive imo if it was taken down from a stinger. From the limited evidence I say I would guess probably not, but not for sure


That being said - a man tampon can indeed take one of those down

true. it would have to hit it during or shortly after launch if anything, before that thing really got going, theres no way a stringer can get it during terminal phase.

definitely looks like something hit that **** though.

I don't know what caused its downing but from the potato photo looking at it a few times it looks like the warhead is there.

If I had ti guess it's just a complete failure. A dud that dropped. I don't see any damage
