Most do (agree).

It's not uncommon for someone to shoot the 26 better than the 19, even.

Go hunt around Glock Talk for awhile and you'll see what I mean. Granted, some of that might have been in prior gens where the 26 already had the dual RSA and the larger guns did not. But there's other stuff at play as well regarding when the barrel locks and unlocks and when the bullet exits and IDK it's more than I cared about, I just know the G26 shoots very well, and shooters above its size class

But anyway, the G26 shoots fairly closely to a full size double stack service pistol, which it is basically just a chopped down version of. The P365 shoots like a really nice shooting small single stack.

That's what matters, the G26 does shoot better than the P365.

Magazine compatibility and options is always worth considering. Especially with how many people already have 9mm Glock magazines, or will end up with other 9mm Glocks...those larger mags work in everything. Great for the range, carry on days/seasons where concealment is easier or less important, home use, whatever. And even those OEM mags cost half what the Sigs do

And the magpul support.

I should double up on the G26. I see used ones in the low 400s all the time...

Fuk. Now in the middle of all this smoker talk Academy puts the Pit Boss Pellet Grill on sale for $100 off again. I said a long time ago I was getting one when it went on sale. But that was before I got the gas grill. Maybe I should sell my Weber.

Just gonna have to agree to disagree on the 26 shooting as well as a larger gun, especially like the ones I mentioned. Doesn't surprise me that some can do it, but I think if you just took a random sampling of people that have never shot a 26 and had them shoot back to back with that or one of the other guns, they're going to shoot a larger gun better. I think we can agree though that the 26 has been the epitome of a carry gun for quite awhile now and still is if a single stack sized gun isn't required.

And again we'll just have to disagree on the ease of a full take down or magazines as being important for a carry gun. I've never once completely disassembled a single handgun I own. It's just not needed, especially in a carry gun where you're never going to rack up a massive round count. As far as mags, most people will never need more than what comes with the gun. Even fewer will carry an extra magazine, let alone a mag from a full size gun. Sure it's a nice feature, but that wouldn't even remotely come into consideration when one gun has big advantages in both size and capacity, which are the things that actually matter for carrying. Now if we're talking about choosing between very similar guns, mag compatibility is definitely something that would be a bigger factor.

I cannot argue the fact that you are producing smoke from the wood chips. My coworker swore his smoked pork was amazing and when I sampled it, it was ok. He used an electric smoker with temp control. Still nothing compared to coal just my two cents. I wish you the best and much success on your smoking endeavor.

Why shouldn't a carry gun get a lot of rounds?

Hopefully we are all acquiring more magazines than the two or three the gun came with, too.

They are both double stack polymer 9mm pistols, if there is a difference you'd have to mic it to know and who cares. If there is a difference, depending on where you measure, the VP might have some spots that are a tad thinner

Before that post causes despair at how tall the VP9SK grip is...a reminder...13+1 VP9SK vs G19

Nothing beats wood fired. The amount of flavor you get from smoking is usually wood/coal > propane > electric. But the ease of use is the inverse. For me, propane seemed like a fair trade off for convenience vs flavor.
