weird because D4's campaign is universally loved by everyone and is the best part of the game, the only hate people have for the game is the content at end game, because essentially after level 60 you are just running nightmare dungeons til maybe you can beat uber lilith. people are hoping they can replay the campaign in the future instead of WT1/2 but at WT4 and maybe the future WT5.

How many times are you going to post this?

We know you've never even bought the game.

That's the problem though. After that, that's it. You just grind for mostly ass gear.

And yep - D2 was the same way. But for some reason it was just better. The item system was 1000X time better and for whatever reason I can't put my finger on, grinding in D2 in general was much more fun and satisfying than it is in D4.

HUGE season 2 coming up on October 17th.

This season + patch has gotten overwhelming positive responses from the community..

Uber Uniques drops increased with 5 new uber bosses to fight (targeted farming style)

- helltides/legions/nightmaredugeons/worldbosses to get fragment materials to craft keys that let you fight the bosses that give targeted Uber unique drops (dev's own words, you will know multiple people that have these items)

new unique legendary items

new legendary aspects

world bosses spawn in 3.5 hours instead of 6 (also buffed to put up a better fight than dying in 5 seconds lol)

less grind (helltides chests, tree of whispers, etc massive buff to EXP gain)

paragon board reset

teleport straight into dungeon instead of outside of it

dungeon reworked so no more back tracking, the path you take will lead you to all the content + boss instead of dead ends

a bunch of storages in all towns so you don't have to run to one far away

resistances reworked now so its like diablo 2 / POE

damage buckets reworked so vulnerable and crit isn't the only thing you will want to build on, but instead making sure you have core damage/close/etc

search function for your stashes/storage

Here are some notable Quality of life changes coming (theres a lot more but not as impactful)

whats good is it helps give it more of an end game since now you get target farm 5 of the new bosses (similar to uber lilith in health and such but a little easier to defeat they said) and in order to get the keys to fight the bosses you need to gather these materials from different parts of the the game (hell tides, world bosses, nm dungeons, legions) so instead of the end game being a NM dungeon simulator you will WANT to do hell tides, world bosses, legions etc so you can get these Uber items by fighting the new bosses.

TDLR - This is the diablo 4 that should have been released and its gotta be a must play for those who wanted these quality of life features from the start.

lack of an open world in D2 gave you a sense of progression. D4 is just a one act game IMO.

camera on d3 sucks and is ruins the game

joining lobbies with randoms, hopping in and blowing through parts of an act was fun

d3 plays like a single player action rpg, but the action-rpg part of it isnt that fun
