It honestly is really sad to see. I don’t understand how Rod Ferguson and the other top D4 guys still have a job. Literally every patch fuks things up and makes the game worse/less fun.

Okay I had no idea that you had to beat the level 50 capstone dungeon for EVERY character in order to take them to WT3. On the eternal realm, I beat the campaign with my necro on WT2 and did the capstone. I figured I'd play the season 1 "story" on WT3 and leave WT2 in my rear-view mirror.

With like most other games, once you unlock a new difficulty level, its there free to use for everyone. Sigh...off to visit some dungeons I guess

even if they let your level 1 character into WT3 you would just get one shotted and never able to proceed, i think the mobs minimum level at wt3 is 50

Lmfao at this campfire bull****. The proposed buffs for sorc aren't nearly enough. Class wasn't amazing as it was BEFORE they nerfed it into oblivion. This buff might be enough to get it back to where it was before, which still isn't enough.

I can’t even play this game. Made it to level 25 and everything feels like a chore. It isn’t fun whatsoever and I can’t even bring myself to launch it again.

Been playing Remnant 2 and having a blast.

I’ll check back in when this game is season 8+ and see if these retarded devs have gotten out of their own way by then.

Chit feels like an alpha version.

Haven’t played in weeks since sorc is unplayable.
Someone tell me if it’s still ass after this patch so I can do myself a favor and not even bother.

not sure but they did buff barb and sorc

try a druid, i see those druids at higher levels just out damaging anyone and with speed too (everyone also agrees druid is the best class). i ended up with like 2 random druids in helltides WT4 and they invited me to the party and i could barely get a hit in before they raped an entire screen of mobs in half a sec.

ima rogue and these guys are moving and jumping mob to mob faster than me. it was the fastest i've ever gotten 500 orbs for the mystery chests.

Based on your post I'm just guessing but you probably haven't started the season yet. They changed monster level scaling.

Diablo 4 World Tier 3 Monster Scaling Example:

If the the player's Level is below 55, the monster's Level is 55.
If the player’s Level is 56-60, the monster's Level is 55.
If the player’s Level is 61, the monster's Level is 56.
If the player’s Level is 62, the monster's Level is 57, etc. (from this point the monsters will always be -5 until World Tier III's max monster Level of 70).

Diablo 4 World Tier 4 Monster Scaling Example:
If the player’s Level is below 75, the monster's Level is 75.
If the player’s Level is 76-80, the monster's Level is 75.
If the player’s Level is 81, the monster's Level is 76.
If the player’s Level is 82, the monster's Level is 77, etc. (from this point the monsters will always be -5).

tl;dr: the overworld, normal dungeons AND the Malignant Tunnels give out schit for xp after a certain point.



Sorc just got buffed today with the new patch, but don't have any experience with it so I can't comment on how it's performing.

Rolled a druid for the Season and breezed through the content with the creeperslide build, even though my luck with aspects was ass, and based on my drops the game wanted me to play some werewolf build. It was pretty fun though.

- renown rewards have been buffed, dungeons/quests previously gave 20/30, since Season launch it's 30/40
- Malignant hearts can be pretty ass or OP, definitely an interesting addition
- couldn't manage to get a single Wrathful Invoker from 1-70 though
- Malignant "campaign" isn't anything special, but it's fine I guess
- no idea about the rest of the classes, but Druid got some great early aspects from the season journey caches, enabling at least two cool builds early (around lvl 10-15) on
- Smoldering Ashes (tied to char lvl) and the Blessings are IMO schit, since they give diminishing returns. First monster xp blessing gives a 4% bonus, then it's 3-2-1.
- except for the level-tied rewards I got all the cosmetics and whatnot by level 71 and 5 out of 7 seasonal journey caches aaand then I stopped


All in all it's ok to waste some time and to grab cosmetics if you're into that, but since my luck with drops has been terrible (spent 9 levels in WT4 and could only upgrade 3 slots to Ancestral with zero cool Uniques, while also getting a couple of relevant Aspect drops) and I'm basically supposed to spam NM dungeons, I quit for the time being.

Lmao sorc still feels like ass. Damage is MAYBE marginally better, but still die to absolutely everything fast AF.

just fully switched to Werewolf Tornado after getting Tempest Roar, and holy mother fuking **** this build is fun to play. It just FEELS good, smooth asf gameplay. And it's strong asf.

I’m liking the new patch. Helltide mob density is way better. I can open at least 4 of the mystery chest without even trying.

Also, since the patch I’ve got 5 uniques already (2 of the same). Was farming for the penitent greaves for my seasonal rogue and got them within 30 mins after the patch in a NM dungeon at lvl 59.

The caged hearts are pretty OP if you have a decent build set up and get some luck on what stats roll. I wasn’t sure I even wanted to play the season but after leveling up to about 30 it started really coming together. This patch was badly needed. Hopefully they don’t screw it up in 2 days when they decide they need to tweak something.

played the new patch last night

and holy moly its beautiful to see how many mobs there are now. hell tides you can EASILY get 800+ cinders (wt4 at level 67 and i died a couple times with those damn explosion mike wazowskis cause for some reason there was like 20 of them when i ride by on the horse insta death) first 10 minutes i had 250 cinders following a druid brah


its been the funniest time ever playing due to the mob density. still seeing druids wipe an entire screen in half a second, im sure they are loving it with the amount of mobs they are killing.


loot is also improved a ton, lot more legendaries. legions were already pretty good with loot they got loot buffed as well.

Finally just admitted to myself once and for all that this game is fking boring and pointless.

Play D2R if you want to experience the pinnacle of Diablo games.

Uninstalled.

Downloading Baldur's Gate 3 since it sounds like it's actually a fun, complete game.

still needs a lot more endgame content tho. The seasonal content is a joke.

Damn it looks like the game got ruined by their devs, RIP. Trying to play back OSRS 07, simplicity and updates make the game more fun than anything out there

Do people actually still play this? I actually couldn't even finish the main story the game was so bad.

I did just beat Tears of the Kingdom though. Now that's a quality game, and not something rushed together for drug addicts.

D4 is the only game I play rn. Lots of people still play, and d2jsp is still very active for D4.

It's not a perfect game by any means and needs improvement but I am having fun playing it. They will make more improvements over time I'm sure as well. I do understand the criticism of D4 and agree with most of it, but still having fun and that's all that matters really.


Level 86 werewolf tornado druid right now in the season. Just did a Tier 70 last night gonna try and push higher.


I played so much D2 that I won't go back unless it's PD2. Ofc though here and there I will get the itch to play some D2 but pretty set on D4 for now.
