Morning broskis...

My brother is buying an H&K AR and is asking for advice on a scope. I know a little about a little, so I'm coming to the more experienced for the right move.

He's very new to guns in general and isn't going to be happy unless he plunks down big money on whatever he buys. I'm thinking either the Vortex Razor HD Gen 2, or the Leupold Mark 6 series.

I know there are higher priced options out there but I'm trying to save him from himself. Any insight is appreciated.

Morning boyos

One of our vendors sent me a pre-screening pass to watch the new Spidey movie before it's released. The theater is in Westminister - like 90 minutes away. lol no.

Good price, especially if it's in good condition. Shouldn't last long.

Sometimes ******** delivers

"Leftists suffer from the delusion that the Constitution's historically unique, productive, and just construction of a nation of sovereign, SELF-ruled individuals, with a strictly limited and dispersed government to tend to matters of national security, protection of individual rights and powers, facilitation of commerce, and adjudication of criminal matters and civil disputes;

are inferior to the primitive and tyrannical construct of a centralized state and rulers that rule over all people, hold all power, control all wealth, distribute privileges in lieu of inalienable individual rights, and arbitrarily redistribute the product of individuals' time and labor (ie, slavery to the state).

Leftists also suffer from the simultaneous self-contradicting delusions that since humans are imperfect they must be ruled, and that somehow imperfect humans are qualified to rule over others and have the right to do so.

Leftists are further deluded that the primitive, tyrannical construct is "visionary," "enlightened," "inclusive," etc;

and that the historically unique, productive, and just condition of individual sovereignty, protected inalienable natural rights, and individual liberty are "dated," "White," "racist," etc.

The Constitution and Bill of Rights stand between just about every Leftist ambition, so, of course they must try to destroy it, and to a very large degree, already have rendered most of the Constitution and Bill of Rights a quaint historical relic, moot, at best arbitrarily and inconsistently followed and enforced. The federal government bureaucracy has long been an elegant example of the routine pervasive and entrenched violation of the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

EVERY problem we have in this nation is ultimately the product of violating the Constitution and Bill of Rights in favor of runaway, unaccountable, centralized, all-powerful government.

Calling holding the government to the Constitution "extremist" is just one of many tactics used by anti-American Leftists to destroy the limits of the Constitution and replace it with the whim of tyrants and mobs.

And, yes, anyone who doesn't like the Constitution and Bill of Rights intact and enforced on the government IS anti-American, by definition."

I'm sure someone already hit on it, but SCOTUS refused to see the San Diego concealed carry case. After the Illinois case, this was expected to be a done deal. Rumors that Kennedy is going to retire soon, hopefully they come true and Trump can nominate another.

Doing a block party at my sister's house. Two of her neighbors work for Southwest. Previous years they somehow they convinced Southwest that it was going to be a company party (like 6 or 7 employees showed up), so Southwest paid for some huge BBQ catering thing and for a pallet of beer (yes a pallet full of cases of beer).

Not sure if they'll be paying again this time or not, but there will be plenty to eat and drink and since they all live at the end of the street into a dead end they just close off the entire thing to traffic. Good times

I hope so too.. BS they didn't take that case. Gorsuch wasn't too happy about it either and his dissent was pretty on point.

It's probably better that they didn't grant cert. Kennedy could easily have sided with the four liberals.

I like the ACOG's but a good 1-6 is pretty tough to beat.

Has anyone shot the Chiappa Rhino? A friend of mine out of state just got one and absolutely loves it. Says the design change, where the bullet from the bottom of the wheel feeds into the barrel, is really impressive in handling the recoil and sending it back rather than leading to muzzle flip. Weird looking gun, though.
