I like the ACOG's but a good 1-6 is pretty tough to beat.
If I was going to spend big money on glass....the Trijicon Accupower 1-8x is about where I would start. Should be had for 1300-1400 bucks. That's a fantastic optic that's winning a lot of awards. If I was spending 1400 today on glass....that would be what I would buy

From there you're probably going to the 2k plus territory and looking for a USO

Aesthetics could be overlooked if it didn't have other undesirable traits.

Anyone with experience with tannerite? Is there a restriction to where you can't use it at? It would be nice if there was something similar for smaller calibers.

You'd have to check your state laws. They recently (couple years ago) banned it in MD, but the law is confusing. I'll leave it at that. I have used it elsewhere though and its fun to make a "boom".

I'd rather do a SBR build with the CZ Scorpion next. Or get a silencer for my P320. But both require dat ATF permission and too much time.

Get the shockwave brace and just leave it as a pistol. No wait and you actually get to see something for your $200 as opposed to a bs stamp.

Pistol Brace crew.

IL doesn't allow SBRs even with stamps, so I welcome our Brace Overlords.

I had someone else suggest the same, but I get wary (read: paranoid) by the loopholes. Kind of like the Mossberg Shockwave which looks like a bundle of fun but maybe inviting unnecessary questions?

If you use the pistol braceasa shoulder stock, does that then make it illegal, though? "Technically."

Recent ATF decision (read: not a ruling) suggests that the answer is no. I read it as a "no" unless they need to bust a gang banger with an extra felony. People are generally pretty excited about it.

Probably best to print off the ATF letter and keep it in your gun case just in case some FUDD officer tries to act like ' he knows the game'

Jelly, brah. Run some hot Buffalo Bore (300+ grain) and let me know how a cylinder or 2 feels. I stopped daydreaming of hiking with one after finally holding the Alaskan (the .44 mag) but I still want to know what hot 44 or 454 would feel like from it if I needed to unload a few rounds quickly.
