Longines arent going to hold their value like others but they are by no means a bad watch (have a 41mm hydroconquest and it was the first real watch of any value i bought). However, if it just came up that fast after a few searches, i would wait and define your expectations and wants more.

I know we all have different tastes m8, but that watch is really ugly imo. Gold plated and old fashioned looking. I would take twovalve's advice and dig a little deeper, and if you still keep going back to that one, so be it.

Congrats brah. They both look great. If you decided to sell the two tone I think a classic black stainless sub sports model would be a good choice. Or a GMT of course.

But those are both great watches and I wouldn’t rush into parting ways with one.

That's a Deep Sea. Absolutely gigantic. You'll need wrists of peace to pull it off. I think it was you some posts back asking about the Sub size compared to the DJ41, and this thing is wayyyyy bigger than a Sub.

That's a deepsea so it'd be a 44mm, mine is the seadweller 43mm. The new submariner is the 41mm. So if you were worried about size for sure you'd want the submariner. But from my experience the 43mm seadweller doesn't wear all that different than my 40mm old sub I got rid of did. I think the sub would wear the same as that DJ41.

Got it 1 yr used, for almost 1K below retail at the time I bought it. Grey Market at the time wasn't too far off of retail, but 1 year old used with no sales tax saved me a little $$ and I didn't have to do much shopping around for it. There seemed to be a bit of lagging hype on the DSSD that kicked in over the past few months and now even used ones are listed for higher than MSRP. But even still, the current Grey Market markup on this isn't as much as it is on a Sub or Seadweller. Maybe 10-15% over for the black dial and 20% over for the Deep Blue JC dial? Not AS popular of a model so not as hard to come by. MSRP is $12.6 and if you keep an eye out, should be able to find one in the $13-14 range.

I've never handled a DJ41 personally, but I'm pretty sure this would dwarf it, side-by-side. DSSD is a big watch.. Pushes the limits of what my wrist can pull off, to be honest, but I wanted something a little more substantial than a Sub or the new SD. Wearing a PAM312 regularly for a few years, makes everything less than 44mm feel small.
