I thought it was a really good season - just finished it.

The show is, in general, good at making me think "come on!" while watching it. The scene with the medal of honor and knowing that Robby wouldn't give it to Sam and tell her that Miguel gave it back. The fact really is that Robby was so anti Cobra Kai and yet himself represented some of its worst attributes (the excess in the last episode).

Good overall at showing that all of them are still pretty weak: Sam (drunk/cheat); Robby (possessive of Sam/manipulative/excessive); Hawke (he kept getting owned, even by his nerd bro).

So there's a lot more that can be developed here but I really didn't see the Miguel ending happening. And Johnny's flashbacks with Miguel's training...I hope he makes a comeback. With Miyagi-do done, I guess Johnny is going to have to figure out a way to do something to 'stop' Cobra Kai with Kreese's takeover.

Overall a great season.

Just finished ep 4 of season 2. I get the same chills from the depth in this show as I do watching a profound anime. Would prolly make sense because of martial arts being shared between both. They hit it big with this show

Hawk irritated me this season, but I have to say the little guy who plays him is one hell of an actor. I mean to go from the geeky bullied, hair-lipped kid who's crying to his mom to a full blown psychotic badass is pretty impressive.

I do, but if so with Cobra Kai under Kreese. I can't see Miguel ever getting over the 'show mercy' moment, and that coupled with Miguel's mom and her fallout with Johnny...

I'd like to see the writers pick the Tory/Sam or Robbie/Miguel rivalry to explore in the context of relationship jealousy. Otherwise it's the same theme being explored with four major characters. Even with the last episode I didn't feel much heat between Robbie and Miguel. I thought the girls had better chemistry in playing that rivalry.

I don't know what premium is but with youtubetv I saw season 2 on the big screen.

I think he will as well... I think he'll get the magic TV heal treatment w/ karate being part of it - they must know that 98% of viewers are team Miguel and that if he's not doing karate, there's nothing left for the kids.

Enjoyed it, maybe not quite as interesting as season 1. I want to see more cobra kai and less fixing up miagi-doh. This one seemed a lot more like a rehash of the movie.
