I'm a huge fan of small seconds on a dress watch. it looks a bit off on a sport/dress watch like the aqua terra but maybe it's just because i'm not used to it

same

I like seeing the sweeping seconds hands move across the dial. Tiny seconds hands is a nothanksjeff.jpeg for me

also, while on the subject of the rainbow daytona, gotta put a plug in for KC. Our boy Patty Mahomes wears a rainbow daytona

Yes, retail. Don’t have the cash to keep both. Otherwise I’d have to cash in an investment.

swam in the ocean with the Seamaster for the first time (not sure if you're supposed to do that, but it seemed to hold up fine). The nato is all sandy and salty, so I soaked it in dish washing liquid.

I tried some Zeniths today at a local watch shop because I wanted to see how the 42mm sits on my wrist.

The shop also had a pretty cool Omega Seamaster from the owner's private collection.

I have 6.5" wrists so I always feel self conscious trying to look at watches. The El Primero with the leather strap sat much better on my wrist than the one with the metal bracelet. Zenith has a 38mm that is out of production but I feel that may be too small.

Their Chronomaster Sport is 41.5mm but I believe I mentioned that it gives Rolex Daytona vibes.

I saw this one for $6400 on Chrono24. Visually interesting and I believe versatile enough for me to dress up/dress down.

I really don't like the way they overlay the sub dials on top of each other, but at least the top one is less intrusive. I think it looks better on the bracelet. You should have taken pictures of it on your wrist boyo.

A long time ago a local AD was going out of business and all Zeniths were 50% off, but it was during the time that they went full retard with the Xtreme models or whatever they were called.

Honestly I feel wristies always make the watch look bigger on my wrist than it actually is so it doesn't make it look right in my opinion. For reference this is my Omega Seamaster Professional with a 41.5mm dial. This was my dad's.

This is another Zenith I tried on last week in Cabo. 42mm dial.

Not really a fan of the open face in the front honestly.

For fun I'll show you some other watches I tried in the past.

If I recall correctly the Daytona is 40mm.

42mm for the Speedy.

I forgot how much the Breitling was.

I love how the dude above said he went in to his watch shop to see how the Zenith's would look on wrist, and proceeds to upload a bunch of pics with them in the palm of his hand lol.

But to provide context to his predicament. Says he has a 6.5 wrist and was afraid of thinking the 38mm would be too small. I have a 7.25inch wrist and I feel like i'm at the bottom limit of getting away 41mm DJs and Aqua Terras so i bet a 38mm would be perfectly fine.

Damn, this new BB58 Bronze is kiiiiiiiinda sick.

After reading about it though, it appears that the bracelet is going to be completely bronze too. I wonder how fuking heavy this thing is going to feel on wrist? Another point to make is that, it'll likely look really sexy new but that patina on the bracelet is not gonna look flattering.

Willbruh, that watch may not contrast with your skin (and sausage wrist) very well in a semi srs thought.

depends on if it's closer to rose or not. Rose goes great with tan sausage wrist. The bronze… you may have a point.

Regardless, no way in hell I would get this after the chronograph being my designated beater. I still think it's a really cool/fun offering from the brand though. I always said that I loved the original bronze but it's like going from a porsche to a suburban when I take off the datejust and put on the bronze. With the fiftyeight case size, it's much more compelling.

Yeah looking at the pics and thinking….it may not contrast *enough*.

this is my favorite daytona. Followed by the platinum. The dial on the platinum is hnnngh. But idk about the brown bezel. I couldn't pull off the rainbow daytona. lol Not as if I'd ever be able to afford any of them though.
