Lockheed Martin (LMT) is a pretty good deal rn too (srs). Currently trades at a 13 P/E, steady ~8% annual earnings growth, 3% dividend yield, one of the strongest economic moats of any publicly traded company. Space (which will be a big time growth field in a few years) is currently 20% of LMT's sales and is growing 10% annually right now. LMT could be an undervalued aerospace giant with plenty of room for their price multiples to catch up over the next ~5 years as tensions in the Asia Pacific put upward pressure on military spending and LMT also solidifies their position as a top OEM supplier to the booming space industry

LMT is also a good hedge against a potential market correction due to the nature of their earnings being relatively insulated from the broader market, and already trading at a significant value relative to earnings
i think you have been for awhile now. i've def seen that ticker on here before. so jealous.

Speaking of other threads, I’m busy pissing on Chino’s grave after the past couple years of his drivel. How do you lose money when stonks have only been going up? Lol.

Someone go inform the peasants in the SPAC thread (if it still exists) about VOSO. Summon them so that they may be enlightened and elevate from their impoverished mental and financial state.

Just finished reading Tap Dancing to Work : Warren Buffett on practically everything, 1966-2012

Awesome read. I'm re-reading the chapters where he was the author of the content (as opposed to excerpts from articles written about him)

8.5/10 book.

philanthropy chapters get repetitive and boring.

The chapters he authors are 11/10.

Yes, here's one of my favorite parts of the book.

Buffett's take regarding speculating on new technologies (he said this in 1999);

The other truly transforming business invention of the first quarter of the century, besides the car, was the airplane {…} in the 1919-39 period, there were about 300 aircraft companies, only a handful still breathing today.

Here is a list of 129 airlines that in the past 20 years filed for bankruptcy. As of 1992, in fact - though the picture would have improved since then - the money that had been made since the dawn of aviation by all of this country's airline companies was zero. Absolutely zero.

Sizing all this up, I like to think that if I'd been at Kitty Hawk in 1903 when Orville Wright took off, I would have been farsighted enough, and public-spirited enough - I owed this to future capitalists - to shoot him down. I mean, Karl Marx couldn't have done as much damage to capitalists as Orville did.
^ sound familiar, EVcels?

found a link, this is basically the best chapter of the entire book: https://www.berkshirehathaway.com/19...neMagazine.pdf

the hardest two sectors that got sold from Evergrande fears are gap filling all losses

XLF (all banks) up the most

XLI (materials) second behind

look at steel names today

CLF / NUE / X etc

not saying this is time to add these names but good sign that we are back to printing.

Reddit as a whole has been infiltrated by shills and bots. A lot of pumping for social sentiment algos imo.

I did see some bullish 30 calls on pltr. It may be it’s time soon finally.

My account is ready after donating plasma and buying the dips.

Executed my first sell order, 408 shares of CVE:TSX @ $12.22. I still think this has the potential to hit $20 but want to take some profits off the table in case things dive again. Got 11,797 CVE shares left + whatever comes through Q2 dividends

Probably paid like $3 for these

Edit: Sold another 410 shares @ $12.20 to take the original investment out of my TFSA

wsb was better before gme/amc but after GME it just bots.

there was decent 'dd' written but now most upvoted content is just meme trash.

daily user count used to average 300K+ users.

last time I was on there was 25K users online.

wsb was able to move stocks before. that time seems to be gone.
