Didn't enjoy myself. Immediately stopped paying attention to the rankings when he put Ulysse Nardin and Breitling in the would buy category. That is absolute jokes.

At least he ****s on Jacob and co. Tuned out after that. I watched his video on James Bond watches yesterday, and he seems to really not like Omega that much. Lol

And he skipped the aqua terra skyfall edition he wore in the video. So was a little salty about that.

I completely cosign schitting on J&C and Hublot. Every Rolex maximalist hates Omega though.

Keeping in mind I own a Rolex and Tudor, but putting Tudor and Cartier in the class category, ALange in the "Meh" category, and Grand Seiko in the schit category? Painfully predictable cold takes that are fresh out of the ArchieLuxury handbook.


Edit: that reminded me that I hadn't been recommended or seen an ArchieLuxury video in months (youtube must have really buried him). I searched for his channel and he is STILL dragging time piece gentleman, lmao.

dude same. lol I was seeing his videos all the time when the timepiecegentlemen stuff was going down. Now not at all. But haven't been watching much watch content here recently so that could be why.




But it's that time of year where I'm really wanting a new piece…might have to make another trip to the AD to waste my time again and show the face.

lmao, the accuracy. I'm not even going to bother. The only watch i want is the BLNR which i was told "you could TOTALLY get one when you buy your girl an engagement ring" HA! Then the other one i want is my holy grail 126715, but i really can't justify a $40,000 timepiece right now.

Anybody have a tudor pelagos? I want to buy one for my trip to the bahamas because i dont feel safe wearing any of my rolexes there

I'd definitely want to see what it looks like in person to make sure it wasnt a giant chunky piece. Im a fan of anything blue and have always been curious about it, but never been able to get my hands on it.

A few big name Rolex ADs in my area got their status taken away. Not sure why exactly. Some people on other forums saying because they wouldn't dedicate an entire section of the store to rolex.

One of which, in short hills mall (NJ), shut down and it appears a Rolex only store opened. I walked by and the line looked like the kids lined up to see Santa … Was insane. Wondering if they actually sell first come first serve…

It is weird, I know Anthony finances majority of his watches and hopes they appreciate, and they recently got 1-2mil from an investor. Anthony has bought a g wagon, a lambo huracan and Marco got a 720s lol. I'm guessing all the cars are on 7 year leases and Anthony is paying a lot insane amount every month spread across his cars and watches

Anthony also put down 60k in roulette last night and won, but something doesn't seem right. There's no way there's THAT much money in grey market watch dealing in such a short amount of time

I don't have a pelages but I wore my Bluesy on trips to the Bahamas and the Philippines last year without any issues. It's my vacation/beach watch so I pretty much always take it with me on trips.

they are a small ad and dont get a ton of inventory, it is the 2nd pepsi theyve gotten and i have the only blue skydweller theyve got.

i asked for tiffany blue OP next, will let you know how long that takes

Think that's bad? My AD lowkey shot her shot at offering me a discontinued (fugly) day date with some weird "bulls eye" dial and baguette diamonds.

The dial had a cool marble effect sure, but not something i'd want to own at all let alone spend 55 fuking thousand dollars on.

No shot at retail. Those wimbledon dials are obnoxiously in demand for reasons i'll never know. Possibly even moreso than the blue dials.

I'm a grey market person - these wimbledons show up for $13.5-14k and I think I'd buy one at that price

My friend just bought a Tiffany OP41 for his wife for Christmas. Had to go grey though. He didn't really give a chit about the markup and I told him might as well since it's probably gonna go up the closer we get to Christmas.

just placed the order for the wimbledon 41 above for this reason. Figure I can sell my S&P 500 stocks and buy them back in a couple months when I get my bonus, but these grey market prices are likely to go up a lot more in the meantime

Jubilee with fluted bezel. I am really excited to get it, it should make an excellent duo with my bluesy due to the different color palates. I ordered it from eBay for $13k, and supposedly it is getting sent to a third party to authenticate it (included in eBay's Authenticity Guarantee) so that is nice
