So wait, you can't lift AT ALL?? Dude… that fukkin sucks. Are you going to recover from this or is it… forever? You have a slipped disc right?

I'm just not about that cardio time. I lift heavy for 1.5-2 hrs, 4 times a week. I feel like that should be enough FFS. I had my yearly at the dr's last week and asked her about the huge weight gain from the past year. I'm going to do bloodwork, but she thinks that this is my bodies 'healthy weight'. As in this is where my body wants to be, because this is about where I was before I had babies. I'm not really willing to accept that. I mean, if my body wants to be 160lbs, that's fine. But I want to be lower bf% than this, so it better get gaining more fukkin muscle.

As for the calories in and out… I am getting pretty pissed about that. I put in 1700 cals a day and I gain. I'm lucky if I maintain. How the fukk am I supposed to hit PR's on that? It's really no wonder that I am progressing so slowly these days. On that note… I'm supposed to PR front squats and trap bar today. Last week I couldn't even get 295 off the ground. Hoping for a better day today.

You're a 5'6'' woman tho. 1700 is basically what I cut on and with the proper amount of stims and pwo I still get decent workout out of it. The thing I find the hardest about switching from bulking to cutting and having to realize its time to say goodbye to pr's. I'm not even a powerlifter but I still can't deny I get a lot of fun out of watching my lifts go up every weeks.

See you next year sweet pr's.

ouch im a city boy born and raised. im not a fan of the country unless you mean cottage country for a few weeks in the summer. i hate how everything closes early and how many things i take for granted in the city are not available in small towns like certain foods.

why did u move to a small town

Feels. I'm born and raised in the city too. I've also lived in 4 different countries and they've all been cities up till now. Never thought I'd experience culture shock cos I've always been so exposed to different cultures, but not I guess I can finally say I've had culture shock moving to a small town lol

Moved for a job and my bf but realized there's not much a small town can offer for me, especially in terms of my career path.

yea thats why everyone from small towns leaves for cities and all thats left in many small towns are old people or people there to make money on resource sector. lack of jobs is why many small towns are dying. i never understood the love of the country for more than a few weeks. i just felt so isolated lol.

Exactly. Imo the money is nice but not worth wasting my youth when I know I can be doing so much more in the city. The culture is also very different. Most people in a small town act like they're entitled to everything and they can do whatever they want. I'm not about that life.

BRB, half her friends are currently pregnant, BRB, feeling like a movie star cause I have all 4 of my front teeth

Current GF, is also a small town girl. BRB, every time we're in the car she puts on Country music

yeah… not really, no… I have a herniated disc in the exact middle of my back and my whole spine is degenerated discs.

If I really want to push it I can do 20lbs deads… dumbbell squats, dumbbell most things, resistance bands, cable most things, machines… Mostly cardio. but I can gain muscle like its my job. Mainly I can't freeweight squat or dead. preacher curls are difficult, anything I have weighted above my head. I can't really twist at all to the right, left is a little better.

I'm in pain all the time anyway and lifting makes me want to curl up and die the next day. So I try to take it as easy as I can so I don't fuk it up even more.
