Well fellas only have to work today for this week and then I am off until next Tuesday. Getting married Saturday…It's supposed to be 97 degrees that day!

Nice Had mine down since graduating grad school in like 2008. I was in school, so an early adopter, bounced out once it opened up to the masses. My digital footprint is relatively tiny given that I'm a web developer

You guys ever get suckered into a 'side' job or task in your areas of expertise?

My wifes family approached me about a point-of-sale app for their new coffee shop…
I banged out a app to run on a Windows 10 tablet and the list of enhancements is non-stop
The worse part? Ive got lots of hours into it. I didn't charge them much because i'm a nice guy and it's a small shop…but I think I'm gonna have to give them the bad news that anything new is going to cost $$$

What kills me is when I offer to pay a family member in their area. My Father in Law kept saying we needed a new roof (roofer) I kept saying OK I'll pay you and help you to do it. Put me off for 10 years, insisted I not hire another roofer, he got sick and then the roof started leaking. When he died I finally just hired a local company to fix it.
