If you look at what tech / growth did last time (March) yield at 1.7 caused lot of sell off in those names

Super basic format (with bar graphs) that allows you to nope tf out (or panic-buy) of something within a 20 second glance.

Beyond that, shareholder equity or other balance sheet stuff I just find on other sites. You get a feel for it, and start comparing companies relative to that data after a while.

Edit: also read free the quarterly newsletter PDF from Donville Kent asset management. They have a very cool way of breaking down data and ranking businesses. There was a chapter about them in '100-baggers'

If you want to get serious about financials, actually studying accounting would be a smart move

Not an accountant but my job is largely finance related, there's a lot of overlap and it definitely helps. I've contemplated taking some accounting courses to supplement it, also good stuff to know if you want to move further into the business world

This market sucks

I have been liquidating and am using this money to start my Psychiatry practice. Will be open June 2022 treating MDD, Anxiety, ADHD, Bipolar, etc.

I don't see why yields are ticking up though, the fed has already said they are going to taper before raising rates. Plus yields rose earlier this year because of inflation fears, not the debt ceiling.
