it's not brand new, but based on the listing it's only a couple of years old and in excellent condition. MSRP is $6300 though, so it seems like hefty depreciation to me.

Went to the two ad’s in my home town of Naples and got on the “list” for a new GMT SS on jubilee. Either bezel is fine.
Both said they hope I am a patient man. Will most likely sell my DeepSea if and when I get it.
I only want one nice watch at a time.

Proud owner of two obnoxiously expensive ST Dupont pens. I really just bought one for my older brother as a wedding gift since he's big into caligraphy/poetry and now living in Japan.

Mentioned a friend was looking for a watchwinder. My sales associate walked me away from the branch manager and whispered to me that if i could convince my friend to get to get one of their $2500 Buben watchwinders, that would be enough spend to get me the 126715.

Considering retail is 38,250 and they're now creeping up to $55,000 on the grey market… i feel like my AD is kind enough to only be ass fuking me with a condom and lube for this additional $4000 in fukery spend. Could have gone in dry trying to squeeze 10k plus out of me.

yeah ebay had a 10% off any watch over 2k, i ended up buying it 45mins after some dude in VI listed it for under 3k, with 10% discount on top. It ships to Stoll & Co in OH, which is a big name for authentication, not some mom and pop shop. They do it every quarter so keep an eye out for the next one!

eBay is legit, bought my datejust with no issues. Received it in 4-5 days after being authenticated by Stoll & Co. Seller had the same watch on Chrono24 and ebay, and it was $300 cheaper on eBay PLUS you don't have to pay the ****gy Chrono24 fee which ends up being another $300. And I get 5.25% cashback on eBay, so it just makes it a great way to buy watches

Also it's not like anyone is even checking for a Lange1 to say "oh you just have a glashutte". Unless you're social circle consists of real estate devs or bankers from Luxembourg or Switzerland, there's a 0.0001% someone will scoff at you for getting the glashutte over the lange1.

Plus remove the Lange1 entirely the glashutte is amazing on its own. I've seen them in person several times.

Yessir. Grand complication celestial. Pics dont do it justice srs. The faceplate moves to show the current stars and moon position (non digital, made of several independent sapphire disks). FUkking useless but buriful and that movement is hnnnnnnnng.

Went to the authorized Rolex dealer in Naples last week and got put onto the list for a GMT SS on jubilee in either black/blue black/red.

I had to show my Florida license or they would not add me. Locals only. Said I hope you are a patient man.

I went in with a plan. My friend is wealthy and showed interest in buying a new yellowgold DD. So I asked him if I buy that will that help me out at all?

Nope. Even that watch has a wait list now.

So the wait begins. I’ll just have to suffer along in my DeepSea.

Guy at my church last night was wearing one of these

https://www.ablogtowatch.com/rolex-submariner-126619lb/

What are the chances that it was real? It looked authentic to me, but im not an expert. Only thing that makes me question is that didn't this watch just come out? Also, the kid was probably no more than 25 years old. But he was asian though so idk

I read the OP and went "someone hit the willbruh signal"

I absolutely LOVE the style of this watch. It may be my next purchase.

Or i should just wait for the economy to crash and pick up something at MSRP.

The black version is the most common fake. Every car mechanic in brooklyn has one it seems.
