Ugly Monday! Major indices are down sharply but tech is taking the brunt of it – mostly for the same reasons back in April.

1: The rise of rates, and the fear of rising rates in the future.

2: Hedge funds are targeting a lot of these tech growth names and driving the price down by heavily shorting the stocks.

3: Reverting back to the mean – a lot of these names had huge run-ups over the last year and perhaps got a bit stretched.

It feels like we might go lower in the short-term, but I am expecting a rally into yearend – November/December and even into January..
See title.

Rates rising no doubt harmful. Hedge funds aren't shorting that hard. Primary driver is going to be pulling money from giant winners and exploring other, more profitable opportunities OR just rotating into beat down tickers. Tsla seems poised to be last to fall. Either gonna be a safe haven OR prime candidate to pull cash to shore up other positions. Uncertain which it will be tbh.

My only 2 stonks without positive earnings are SNAP and PLTR…. Every other company I own, a market correction is not scary at all; they aren't going anywhere.

Edit: also, let's be honest…. This triple digit return bullchit had to end eventually lmao.

So far been flat all day, no signals just yet.
Keep at it, brother. We’re all gonna make it

Also, FB isn’t getting much talk itt today which is surprising. It is at critical support right now, a break below and off to $250 it will go.

no…volume is very high. There's lots of people rotating money into other sectors. Not trying to be a dick would just hate to see you guys lose all your money

This market has no tailwinds and only headwinds
- Biden economy
- Rising taxes
- rising inflation which will hurt earnings
- already high valuations
- international worries
- China China China
- Supply chain problemms

Financials and value are down, although not as much as tech. I think this is just an overall selloff, nothing to do with rate hike fears

After processing new information (Q2 results and management outlook for upcoming quarters), Wish's fair value has dropped from $19.38 per share to $14.77 per share. At $6, Wish is massively undervalued, and current prices are likely driven by a market overreaction to the Q2 earnings report and bearish all around short term market sentiment.

You'd be surprised how many people think their stuff is legit. I've seen a bunch of people online excited about their new brand name golf clubs lol then you see a side by side of their clubs and the real ones they're hilariously cheap looking.

My gainers today were PROG and AMPY.
In and out sitting on cash for tomorrow.

Bought a small amount of apple, lucid, and Palantir for swing plays, worst case I’ll hold them. Not jumping in yet heavy on much of anything.

US will likely not default. Seems like an overreaction overall and SPY pulled back this same way and broke trend this time last year. We will see in the next couple weeks.
