You absolutely have to go on finasteride if you're getting the transplant

The current surgeries were just starting 20 years ago they should be better at it now

It was real bad pre mid to late 90s. You had either hair plugs or the skin flap surgery. Trump has the skin flap surgery it's brutal and it's why he has that weird part line on the side of his head
Do you really have to take fin I’ve heard people have had good success without fin the hair they transplant shouldn’t be DHT sensitive

Freitas made your hairline straight across, instead of adding a natural looking peak in the middle? for a hairline that straight, there should have been temple points. looks good otherwise, i'm just being super nitpicky because i heard freitas is really good.

There is strong evidence to suggest the transplanted hair isn’t impacted by dht.

The issue is the areas that aren’t balding will continue to thin out.

Picture this. You get a transplant for your crown but the areas around the crown keep thinning so you have a weird island like thing going on.

Kind of like this .. sincere apologies for ai slop

It’s been 26 days

The next 2-3 months will be characterized by shock loss of native hair and shedding of the transplanted hairs.

Final results for crown take 12-18 months.

Yeah, it definitely looks a bit crappy for the first 6-8 weeks. But it definitely won't take 3 months, if they're still not growing by then it could be problematic.

Lol, Minoxidil is a complete waste of time, and Fin basically slows the loss. Neither one is going to give you a full head of hair.

Topical Minoxidil is one of the most useless products out there. Way too much effort for such a small benefit. However, Oral Minoxidil does make your body hair grow like crazy.

This is bullshit Ollie.

At 3 months, I was starting to get concerned the hair wasn't coming back. I took high res pics of my scalp and saw a bunch of tiny hairs when I zoomed in. By 4 months you should see improvement, and every week after you can literally see it get thicker.

It's not just me, a guy from my Board of directors went to the same place I did after he saw my results, and his recovery was exactly the same.

Nothing that I've noticed. The only real downside is that my bodyhair grows a lot faster than it used to, and I started getting hair in some places that I didn't used to. But honestly other than a bit more grooming(that I was already doing), it's been only benefit.

Maybe the area where it's implanted matters then. Most of the implanted hairs in my hairline literally just kept growing and never fell out. It's probably because I was already on Dut and they gave me a prescription for oral minox as well.

There are serums/shampoos that are supposed to help prevent grays. I've never used them but might be worth a try.

One very positive side effect of oral minoxidil is eye lash thickness and length. Girls like eye lashes for some reason.

I always have females compliment them now.

Yeah I suppose I’m getting old now and women my age wouldn’t care either.

I’m more attracted to younger women tho like 25-29 where hair is more important to them.

It was kind of amazing seeing how weak many men were, getting their hair shaved off the first day in military service. As if they lost their soul. Most of those never amounted to much anyways, or got problems later on anyways.
