Women tend to get away with being more dependent and requiring vast amount of emotional support in every situation. Even so, it annoys me when women are like this and don't just get on with it.

For men, it's game over - women won't have this leniency. Women innately want a man who leads, supports, protects and provides. Even if theysayotherwise, they will lose attraction.

That said, there are times when a man will need/want some support from his significant other or friends. I don't see anything wrong with that, we get down sometimes too and it's nice to have someone there. But it shouldn't be over something insignificant or a constant thing. If someone in my immediate family passed away or whatever, for example.

Have you ever been backstage as an athlete on a bodybuilding/fitness show? Women are in groups talking chit about other girls, and we are all supporting each others even the guys that we're going to compete against.

The misc suffers from a great selection bias when you want to study men. It attracts mostly guys who aren't exactly sociable, don't have much going on for them and all those negative traits. Now I'm not saying that all the dudes who post on the misc are like that, but you find these traits more on the misc than you'd expect in real life.

Half of it I disagree with, the other half I don't because I've seen some strong men wilt due to personal struggles.

Some may just had a hard stretch in life, something traumatic happened in their lives, etc. A lot of the misc and Red Pill guys say that men are undervalued in our society. To a degree yes women are highlighted for any small accomplishments. Look at social media. Huge example. Some of the article does come off as whiny though.

I will say I do fantasize about saving people from an attack lol.

I don't agree with ALL of the article. I just saw someone post it and thought it was interesting, but I do think emotional health is downplayed with men. I can ask my bros for support, but frankly they have their own personal battles they go through. Loneliness, personal demons, etc are something everyone goes through no matter what walk of life.

The dudes who project certain personalities have no substance to them. You can only be Machiavellian to a point where everyone can just tell you are. But like you I have seen some natural strong leader like men fall due to their struggles. Men will never be the limiting reagent in a chemical reaction of reproduction. i.e. 100 men and 1 woman = 1 kid a year. 1 man and 100 women = 100 kids a year.
