Brah, this isn't the first "super-bug". Liberalism is a disease which has been around for quite a while now. It's spread world wide and is currently ruining most developed nations across the planet.

Probably just scaremongering again. It is not the first time they mention antibiotic resistant bacteria, they have been talking about it for more than 10 years and it never was a big deal really. How many times did something actually happen as media perceived it? lol. ****, I've survived so many things without a scratch already, N.Korea nuclear attacks, Russia, Bird flu, Swine flu, SARS, MERS, Ebola, WW3, Total economic collapse, EMP killing all electronics due to solar flares, 2000, 2012 and the list goes on
In case it really does happen, at least it will cure overpopulation so Earth can restore its balance. And those who die will be the weakest units, stronger persons with a healthy immune system will develop antibodies on their own in time.

Lastly, these chits blows up in media because researchers are honest about the potential threat. How ever, you fail to acknowledge WHY we avoid these pandemics, and it's because we take great measurements against them. See ebola for example.

Guess what, deaths from MRSA are increasing rapidly and 10 years is NOTHING on an evolutionary scale, lmfao at thinking 10 years is a long time in biology. The reason it's not a full blown epidemic yet is because very few bugs are actually resistant to all strains of AB, so they can still be treated. Bacteria that is resistant to 9/10 types of AB is no more deadly than bacteria who is resistant to 0/10 kinds, as long as you have access to right kind. However AB resistance is a pretty new phenomenon and AB resistant strains are increasing exponentially. Once you get to the point where they are resistant to all strains though, there is nothing to be done at all. So deadlyness won't rise linearly, like you seem to think, but rather we will hit a critical tipping point where all the medical advances of the last century will go out the window.
And guess what, it's all because of ignorant morons like you lapping up big pharma and livestock breeder propaganda and spouting your worthless uninformed opinions about things of which you don't have the slightest ****ing clue. And it's not just you, many other retards like you in this thread. It's people like you who are enabling politicians and greedy corporate chitbags to get away with the idiocy that has led us to this point. Bravo.
And lmfao at thinking this will only cull the weak. You realize if this happens we won't be able to perform surgery anymore? Good luck willing away your appendix with your positive alpha attitude. You can literally die from cutting your leg at the beach. Women will die in childbirth, won't be able to repair broken limbs etc etc.
Just lol @ all the idiots in this thread srsly. Hopefully we will find away at averting this catastrophe but if you think this is anything like SARS or Ebola you are a phucking moron.

We have discovered some bacteria to make ABs out of but we probably will not for a while and they will be saved for very serious infections
Cant we chemically engineer current Antibiotics ? so that the plasmid response system of the bacteria will not recognize the new variation of the drug ?

we also got Teixobactin right now and will be available in 5 years i think
and if we keep growing and discovering soil bacterium i think we will be okay
as biological technology becomes stronger and stronger we will be able to research bacteria we weren't able to in the past
we need to reduce use of Antibiotics globally + Research and modify more bacteria

Brb if I get ill I just load up on water, fruits and veggies
People take antibiotics for colds? Pissening.
Also, the worst part is that anyone saying "yay, we need a population culling," this is gonna hit the developed world the worst. You might wish that this kills swathes of people in the 3rd world so that when the dust settles it's just the Wifi-using master-races that inherit the earth but it's gonna be the opposite way around. The elites will be the hardest hit, the undeveloped masses stand the greatest chance of survival since they're already living with little to no medical care anyways.
Sleep tight, civilisation; tours over boyos.

A healthy person gets scratches and cuts thousands of times and doesn't get sick from it. The problem is poor hygiene combined with weak and frail immune systems. People who have crap diets, poor hormone levels, too much stress. If you eat well, train hard but infrequently, and get enough sleep, your body won't need antibiotics every time you get a paper cut.

Basically take all the surgeons in the world, and every life they saved, and then imagine those people dead. I bet your ******* ass had pneumonia at some point as a child, and if not there's probably something else that would have killed either you or your parents.A healthy person gets scratches and cuts thousands of times and doesn't get sick from it. The problem is poor hygiene combined with weak and frail immune systems. People who have crap diets, poor hormone levels, too much stress. If you eat well, train hard but infrequently, and get enough sleep, your body won't need antibiotics every time you get a paper cut.
But yeah I'll just keep eating my broccoli and everything will be fine. See you at the plague doctors office brah
